I'm confused as to exactly how his ult works.
Do his spells do magic or physical damage?

Well, it looks like when his ult is up you get a little spectral duplicate of yourself that basically exists it looked like five seconds in the past. So, when you activate your ult, you end up where you were five seconds ago and if there's people near that spot at the time you activate your ult they take damage. You also regain some amount of HP.

So, we'd need to predict where a team fight is exactly for 5 seconds in the future? It sounds like that delay will be a real pain.

Well this depends on how it could work
But I imagine that his dash and ult combo could pull stuff like "Hey. I am going to leave this teamfight from this guy who is chasing me. Dash somewhere safe and now return with extra health"
Alternatively Ult, dash, assassinate someone out of place real quick, and hop back in to the place he was in real quick, Le Blanc style? Not sure how possible that is
But look at his Dash. He is like Graves with those possibilities, seeing how many gaps he can cross with his own. His little stunthing seems like like a deterrent for chasers. "I am goign to shoot you from the other side ofthis and if you approach me I walk in, stun you, hit you, and then dash away"
And he still needs a duck skin.

If the team fight is all in one place, then I won't be an issue but I suppose you'll have issues if the team fight ends within those five seconds (because team fights are damn quick) or becomes very mobile.
I wonder if you can use abilities during your ult?

It doesn't look like it lasts long enough. I suppose you culd use it to redirect his Q, though.
Reading the dev notes it seems like his gameplay is based heavily on planning ahead, which is pretty cool. 2-5 seconds is an eternity in a teamfight, which could make things ab it tricky, but his W and Q seem like if you don't notice him during a fight he can fuck you up even without planning ahead too much.
So he gains advantages from either planning ahead or subtlety, then. Can't wait to give him a shot.

Do we have much indication Viktor is forcing it on anyone? The Battlecast skins are the only indication he's even making any progress in it at all.
His Lore didn't really indicate to me that he was converting people. I mean he still assaulted Jayce and stole an artifact over a conflict in academic focus, and I get the feeling he's vaguely unhinged without his squishy bits in general, but... still.

Despite my earlier post, I actually think it's Antonio Del Rio, AKA Pit and Dark Pit.
Non League gameplay related, but... I came to a Karaoke today and decided that even if I rarely hear the song because I quickly logged in anyway, I decided to sing 'Warriors' by Imagine Dragons. You know, the previous LCS song.
