So basically you do still listen to him, you just like to be smug about it.

I rather liked his war for cybertron review. It was a good summary of the transformers fandom imo although I still think it was a great show (and more importantly a great set of action figures) when I was a kid but that could be nostalgia talking.

No,, it's a thread to discuss new videos and reactions to them, like every other thread in the media section. But apparently some assume this thread is a bashing thread.

Yeah the reason the last one got locked is mainly because it was a constant back-and-forth between people yelling about Yahtzee's biases, other guys bashing those people for liking the console being bashed, and it just went on and on and on until the while thing just became way too hateful and predictable and boring.

We're not trying to quash any criticisms, we just kind of don't want that to happen again.

Luckily, one of the main posters responsible for the massive flamewar hasn't posted since August 3rd.

So did he like or dislike Ico? It seemed like prangs of both.

Shadow of the Colossus sounds awesome though.

I like the fact Yahtzee likes Silent Hill 4. Such an underrated game.

I thought he said it was a good idea to switch away from the cult, and trying new things, but it seems like he doesn't think its that great of a game.

From what i remember, he liked the story but hated the gameplay.

Which is basically what me and most other fans think as well. The gameplay IS horrible but the story is the best after SH 2.

If that's the case, bad gameplay is a silent-hill staple.

Indeed. He even said as much in his Silent Hill 2 review.

Also this reminds me. i was trying to remember where his lovely phrase "sheer, determined retardation" came from and now I know it was the Silent Hill Origins review. When he described the protagonist.

Interesting. I agree with some of his points; though I also agree that it'll be hard to shunt the word out of usage.

And it's looking more and more to me that Yahtzee is a troper somehow, what with his capitalizing of both the words in "Moral Guardians".

Moral Guardian has existed as a term outside of TV Tropes, y'know.
