They really should learn how to charge more for the potential manual labor they can do. Imagine any business person worth their salt would be able to replace an entire workforce and most their heavy machinery with one Z character and some simple tools. Imagine a delivery service that actually can be real life Santa every day of the year? Even if 18 will be out of commission within 6 months, that's 6 months she's more productive than entire countries over the course of years. And I still think them being 6 months of cheap renewable energy is the ideal way to go. They could also go the Yamcha route, utterly dominate a sport until the league pays you out for being too good because sports where every outcome is obvious is not equal to the joy of seeing phenomenal display of athletic ability or the team you like winning. Think Krillin would be good in Battle Ball, maybe apply for a spot with the North City Eastern Board.

To me, 18 - at least in Z - looks less angry and more that she's just bored all the time. Which tracks with the idea that she just doesn't like socializing with most of these people. Though she was like that with 17 too.
Later stuff does though at least indicates that there are some members of the gang she does like the company of, though.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. That's definitely a Kaiser shitpost.
Burning love!they got love bombed!

Yeah. This has been mentioned in the main DB thread, and the Dragonquest thread.
We'll definitely be hearing from the abridged guys about it.
It's devastating.
One Strip! One Strip! We already have, at least from KaiserNeko, though the main TFS account has shared his post:

As said before the edit, Neko's at a loss for words over Toriyama's passing.

It's been 3000 years…Bittersweet in the sense that this was tweeted out like hours before we got news of Toriyama's death but Masako's a dad now:

Burning love!Geez, Toriyama's the same age as my parents.
So, what happens to the franchise now? It's possible it can go on without him, GT had little involvement from him, and once the manga is made, he doesn't need to be on hand for it to be made into anime, but wasn't the manga right in the middle of a big story arc with this Baphomet looking guy?
You mean Moro? He was already defeated in 2020.
The manga recently got done adapting Super Hero.

It is a good question.
GT shows us what happens when he's not directly involved. Super too, since he just wrote some notes.
It's recently with both Broly and Super Hero that he was keeping a closer watch on the anime, and he was heavily involved with Daima.
I suppose this will be the end of Dragonball. Not immediately as there's gonna be some inertia depending on how far they got, but still.
It's likely too early to tell though. So for now, lets just focus on offering our condolences where we can.
One Strip! One Strip!Honestly this hit me in the gut even more since I learned about this the same time a family member also got a head injury.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Ooof. I hope they're ok.
One Strip! One Strip! They are thankfully. They only suffered a broken foot from falling after the injury.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. We're back with the commentaries. This time, the Buu Bits.
Burning love!Lani and Kaiser will be doing GT Commentaries on the channel next too!
As in commentaries on episodes of Dragon Ball GT? That'll be fun to see them tear into this show in this format.
It's been 3000 years…I don’t think this will be the end of the Dragon Ball franchise as a whole. There’ve been other Japanese properties that’ve continued independently of their original creators.
I think the most likely scenario is that the franchise will end up as something akin to Doraemon after Daima and/or Super ends with Dragon Ball getting a movie every year.
yep, Lani and Kaiser will watch and give commentary on every episode of Dragon Ball GT, every saturday
Man, remember when Four Star Bento made that Fuck, Marry, Kill series for anime seasons? I miss that.
I mean, you saw the verbal beatdown she gave Vegeta in Shortz 5.
Burning love!
