ditto. Not mother, but other stuff.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyNever mind, I just found it.
I was sort of annoyed at Huey never actually speaking on the election, felt it was out of character.
I did like how they portrayed all Obama's supporters and opponents as not actually caring about any of his policies.
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!Yes, it was funny how supported has wrong views of his policies. PS Is Huey Freeman an expy of William Ayers for this episode?

TU NE CEDE MALIS CLASS OF 1971^^ Again, the episode wasn't really about Obama, the same way the MLK episode wasn't really about MLK and the R. Kelly episode wasn't really about R. Kelly. Mc Gruber's criticism is of how willfully ignorant society can be.
And they showed Mc Cain supporters to be just as ignorant and self-righteous.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yeah, that makes more sense.
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!Crap, I totally forgot this was starting yesterday.
"The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules." - E. Gary GygaxIt's okay to ride that dick, just as long it's Barack's!
The German filmmaker was probably one the funniest things I've heard in a while.
-> What about a bitch whose name is Michele.

The Philosopher-King Paradox- "Are you afraid that your wife is going to have lusty sex with Barack Obama?"
- "What? No!"
- "I can't help but notice you're like a less attractive, less wealthy, less powerful version of him."
Good Lampshade for that Hilarious in Hindsight!
Also:
Granddad and Riley both are overjoyed with the new President-Elect. Granddad expresses that Obama is going to lower his taxes (which he won't for people at Granddad's income level), that he will be against corporate bailouts (which he is for), and that he will withdraw American troops from Afghanistan (he actually increased the number of troops there).

TU NE CEDE MALIS CLASS OF 1971I personally was not disappointed by the season premiere. But you do have to wonder how that episode would of gone down like if Mike Caesar had been in it. I hope he shows up early, and in more than one episode. Also that song had me in pain from laughing so hard (better yet I was LMFAO throughout the whole episode and at the same time really thinking about the message, only Mc Gruder could make me do that).
"But who prays for Satan? Who...has prayed for the one sinner who needs it most?" - Mark Twain(spam, sorry 'bout that)

"But who prays for Satan? Who...has prayed for the one sinner who needs it most?" - Mark TwainI feel stupid asking this, but... who's this Mike Ceasar everyone's talking about?
He's basically Huey's straight man, and the guy who stops him from getting too extreme, jaded, or full of himself.
He's got the same outlook as Huey, but more laidback: instead of righteous/cynical anger and he's got cheerful/cynical humor.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I wish they had actually said what Huey's problem was, instead of having him act passive aggressive. I thought it made him look sort of look arrogant, especially that part about "...if nobody's going to listen.", like the problem wasn't about how everyone was acting towards Obama, but that nobody was listening to Huey.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Nobody ever listens to Huey.
"The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules." - E. Gary GygaxBut now he's not even giving a good reason to.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. He's probably got Cassandra Truth fatigue.
"The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules." - E. Gary GygaxYes, he's retired.
TU NE CEDE MALIS CLASS OF 1971Poor Thugnificent. I don't see why the record deal fell through, its not like he was the one who pulled a gun.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. That last episode was uncharacteristically weak. Thugnificent really is only really interesting when he's intersecting with one of the Freemans' plotlines. Riley was just there to hold Huey's Sanity Ball(a role that he isn't particularly suited for), and Ed III was just wasted as a Diabolus ex Machina.
This show is still about Huey, right?
"The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules." - E. Gary GygaxI lol'd at the Gentleman Crack Addict.
That is true, the GCA was the best part of an otherwise lackluster episode.
"The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules." - E. Gary GygaxIt was a good way to wrap up Thugnificent's character.
The Gentleman crackhead was funny as hell, hope he appears again.
Missed it due to mother being annoying.
Anyone know where I could watch it now?
