Meh, the SU-152 is a... subjective tank. Yeah it's starter gun can potentially do an apocalyptic 700 damage per shot, but the accuracy is so terribad that you'll miss most shots, and the armor penetration is oddly poor. You pretty much have to use the premium ammo to make that gun worthwhile. The combination of those two traits are probably gonna make you hate the bejesus outta that tank until you unlock the better guns.
It's a 152mm derpcannon - ignore the AP and load HE, HE, and more HE. Shell goes boom, enemy loses loads of hitpoints and several modules. Slam it into their side, and it'll likely even penetrate.
Tbh, I actually prefer the TD's 152mm HE shells than dealing with the RNG of the other two guns.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakWargaming seems to be contemplating changing the penetration values for many of the higher tier tanks. To quote their primary given reasons:
- Excessive armor penetration in high tier (VIII - X) battles. The ratio between successful and ineffective shots exceeds the rations in medium and low tiers.
- A need to increase the role of penetration in high-tier battles. Analysis of high-tier battles has shown that excessive armor penetration eliminates the role of heavily and medium armored vehicles in battle.
Link Here, if you're interested in seeing which tanks Wargaming may possibly change.
Honestly I don't think that's going to achieve much, especially since the gold rounds aren't going to disappear. If they really wanna fix the issue they might have to take a page from Armored Warfare and remove premium ammo altogether, possibly in exchange for a greater variety of ammo types.

TLDR: Tier10 meds and ATSPG lose 10-15 pen, T69 and T29 gain 10 pen, gold ammo on high tiers loses 20-50 pen.

As someone who doesn't have a tier-10 yet, I still like the thought here; armor should matter. My dream scenario for reducing the golden glut is by making a limit to how much gold ammo you can carry or by having successive rounds cost more.
Should've checked the list.Same here. What is the point of having armor when it doesn't offers the protection that you need. And yes, I know it will cushion the impact of HE shells, but I agree with having an cap of Gold rounds? Yes, I've beat you guys to this topic. Now if I come back, I'll post a satrical wall of text signaled by this meme◊ on the main forums.

Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakYou seen the Warhammer 40,000 looking vehicles we're getting for the Jap heavy line?
Schild und Schwert der ParteiAbout time they added something to the Japanese tech tree!
Sighs I haven't played since March and I'm trying to update the game client today; and so far it's taking four hours.
And of course, I are shit◊ at this game.◊

Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakI hardly ever get anyone messaging me. I feel luckier about that all the time.
Should've checked the list.So this apparently happened in Germany: The police raided the house of some old guy who had an AA flak gun, Panther Tank, and Torpedo amongst other weapons stashed in his basement. Even more hilarious is the fact that the entire village was aware of this for the longest time: the mayor was even quoted saying "He was chugging around in that thing during the snow catastrophe in 1978. (He) a certain fondness for particular things … Some people like steam trains, others like tanks.”
I am so jealous of that guy right now...
Last night's hightlights. And they hate my toaster of an PC.
And some food for thought. Personally speaking, region locking is bad for business.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakSo I've logged in last night and they've added a new mode where I can replace my B1's crew.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakThat's been around for the last two months, and it's in it's second iteration. I guess it's a good mode to play for those interested in seeing how the Tier X tanks play, but due to how it's basically an FFA deathmatch mode with respawning tanks and no rhyme or rhythm, I've barely played it.
So! I did another thing.

I think they must have tried to chase me at the end rather than getting on cap themselves.
Also, can't get the Youtube embedding thing to work.

Should've checked the list.
Also it's not even an adequate cash generator or crew trainer. Very little incentive to play it aside from a way to blow steam via respawning tier Xs.
x2 The You Tube embedding has been on the fritz for an while. An fix has been promised, but there must be bigger things to repair/improve.
As for the new mode, I only played it once with an IS-7. I'll admit that it's different, but it's flawed in the sense that you'll need teamwork and coordination to win. I'd rather grind my way to the real thing.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakIt seems that the Xbox One version of WoT is quite different from the PC version. In addition to a different UI, crew voiceover, and a visible cannon, there's several unique maps similar to the event specials that are released on occasion for the PC. Heck, it even has a comp-stomp mode!
So I've started an Ask Me Anything thread tonight...And they hate me: Death threats are flying left and right...

Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakDoesn't look like your thread lasted very long...
I blame the guy who caused nearly an entire page to be hidden because he wanted me to commit suicide. But I can't believe that several people told him how wrong that was.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to break"At the time of writing, World of Tanks has a strong sense of community on Xbox One. Almost every match that I played was full and quick to load, and I spent minimal time in lobbies. There was also plenty of good-natured chatter between members of my team, although of course you do encounter the occasional user who still doesn’t realize that the Kinect is set as a microphone by default, leaving you to suffer through a crying baby or domestic argument for 15 minutes, but I didn’t run into much of the aggression or foul language that can be found in other games such as FIFA or Call of Duty. Of course, being an online game, each user’s experience will differ, but I was pleasantly surprised by my overall experience with other users."
So apparantly, the anniversary tank is the BT-7A. I would link to the wotlabs thread, but it's too far away...But at least I finally have the means to use both of the Soviet TD branches.
And of course, there's an lot of buzz on wotlabs about an list of new tanks.

INB 4 KV-2 takeover!
Yes, the armor may be sub-par for an tier 6 heavy; but the frequents complaints◊, occassional bits of pub rage, and fear it induces was totally worth it for me.
Let's see: I liked the pre-nerfed KV-1S, the Hetzer and SU-152 are blast to play with, U.K. Matilda is thickly armored for an tier 4 medium, the IS-1 is semi-reliable before I lost interest but it still worked.
