Brock doesn't have motive decay. Being a Pokemon doctor is just as badass as being a Pokemon breeder — that doesn't make him flat and boring; it just makes him have changed his career choice.
If you have a problem with a specific example, use the discussion page or simply edit it yourself and leave a good edit reason. If you just removed the "villain specific" aspect of Motive Decay, then I think we're done here.
Fight smart, not fair.By the way, has anyone else noticed that this page has the same image as And That's Terrible?
Indeed Luthor, how the epic have fallen. You go from stealing cakes to becoming another Super Genius-Evil Mastermind, that delights in the suffering of Superman, and cares not who he hurts???? But the cakes!!! D: We miss you partaking of stealing something so terrible!

This is Mimi-don't let her cuteness fool you-she's got spunk. This seems to have been resolved, and it has certainly stalled. Can someone please close this discussion?
Guess who, it's Kaosubaloo!Agreed, seems it was brought up on the back of one example, stalled and was seemingly resolved elsewhere so lock this one up if you please.

Hi i just made a big edit to motive dacay. It used to have a description focusing only on villains, but as a Characterization Tropes it isn't really that narrow. It also has has a fair bit of overlapping with Flanderization. If there are examples that could fit better in motive decay or in both, so if you guys want go ahead and do that, that would be, to quote Bill Lumbergh, great.
And because I've had my greasy mitts all over motive decay, a pair of fresh eyes on it probably wouldn't hurt.
And if you disagree with my definition of motive decay, please say so before anyone starts making a mess of these two pages.
If you read this sig, I am sorry to have wasted your time.
