It's a matter of expectations. You expect a giant monster to wreck the city and you expect a superhero to save the day. So when Godzilla and Superman both save the day and wreck the city in the process you applaud the monster for exceeding your expectations and deride the superhero for failing to live up to them.

It's just really frustrating when guys who you really like and are really funny shit on one of your favorite superhero movies nonstop for a month and then some.

I'm kinda surprised Pat hates/doesn't like Green Lantern stuff. Disliking Hal Jordan is understandable, but Pat should at least like Guy Gardner. He's the gingerest superhero ever.

I think it's mainly because they see Green Lantern as They Wasted A Perfectly Good Ability, considering that you have a ring that can basically literally do anything that you can imagine but Hal uses it to make giant fists and stuff.

And in Man of Steel there's also the issue of Pa Kent's death, which was completely unnecessary.

I liked Young John Stewart from that one episode of Justice League Unlimited. He's got more imagination as a kid, so he uses his ring to make multi rocket launchers and a mecha.

Considerably more exciting than adult John Stewart, who largely made bubble shields and lasers.

He also made glasses for himself out of his ring energy (then turned it into a pretty cool looking mask) in the original Justice League when they were turned into children. And I do remember in the more recent Green Lantern cartoon that Kilowog used his ring to make some kind of battle suit with gatling guns and stuff. Not to mention that in the comics he saved his homeworld by taking the souls of all of his species into his ring and releasing them somewhere else.

I think I recall some G Ls giving batman a ring-made Powered Armor suit for space battles, in the Brave and the Bold cartoon. "The Eyes of Despero!", I think the episode was named.

So, just completed GOT episode 5...I think they're not gonna like the ending.

Nope. You have to choose between two playable characters, and that's all I'll say about it.

My wild guess is that you have to choose which of two given playable characters (gonna guess the not-Ashers south of the Wall) to survive some event. It probably kills off whoever you elect to save, just to be a dick ASOIAF about it.

If you look at the Resident Evil 3 title card you can see a bunch of graffiti in the bottom right. My brother took one look at it and claimed they wrote "The Witcher Sucks." If you look directly to the left of the hobo fire barrel you can see that it says, "the Witch__r SN__ or SU__ something. I can't make it out. Does anyone know what it says?
