The sync screwed up any possible scariness. Though I don't see why that one was so much scarier for them then the other games they played.

Okay, this game was the only one that actually got me pretty scared. Though the audio being off-sync was kind of annoying. I mean, it didn't detract from the scariness or anything, but still.

Silent Hill 3's pretty great. Haunted me for a while when I was 12. Even now, I doubt it'd be easy to get through, especially that damn hospital. But I don't feel a single video particularly captures how oppressive the game is.
What's this zone thing Matt keeps mentioning? From the sound of Pat's reaction, it must some real terrible thing.

I couldn't watch the Saw episode. That opening scene with the guy cutting the key out of his own eye socket was too gory for me; even Matt and Pat's commentary couldn't make it watchable.

It got way, way tamer after that. There's pretty much nothing as bad the beginning.
Also, the latest episode was kinda boring because they really had nothing to work with, like the mountaineering game. There... just wasn't anything happening for most of the time. Although Matt lording over Pat because he already played the game for once was pretty amusing.

Yeah, with the astronaut ghost game and the mountaineering one, the game itself was pretty boring, but Matt and Pat's commentary totally made up for it.
Also, their Lone Survivor video got me interested enough to watch a full playthrough of the game.

Huh. This seems like an actually nice game so far, probably the best they've played. But there's still 24 games to play so, who knows what'll be down the line. Though I thought heard bad things about it. Must have been the PS 2 version.
