Perhaps a set up for a Sylveon?
One Strip! One Strip!I think it's actually so it can evolve offscreen for a new Eeveelution for Gen VII.
I'm more interested in that heart shape picture featuring both Eevee and Pikachu, with the caption that states good friends. Good friends... or something more?
Blast! At least Misty was away for about a decade! Pikachu and Buneary were all snuggle snuggle when Dawn revisited about 3 years back. True, it was at Oshawott's expense, but still...
Don't they usually have one of the female leads pokemon have a crush on Ash's? Aside from Buneary liking Pikachu, I seem to recall Ash and May's Bulbasaur liking each other when they were together. If they do something similar with Serena's Pokemon it wouldn't surprise me.
Unlikely. Eeveelutions are never introduced in an odd-numbered generation post-Gen. I; it seems to be part of the pattern wherein odd-numbered Gens only ever introduce new evolutionary lines and are always bigger overall. Meanwhile, even-numbered Gens are smaller in number of new Mons and always introduce expansions to older evolutionary lines - Gen. VI only does another Eeveelution, but the many Mega Evolutions we've gotten presumably make up for it... Of course, Gen. VII could be the start of that pattern being obliterated in the games and such, so who the hell knows?
(*grumbles about the lack of a Dark-type Gym after 5 damned Gens*)
Oh, alright. However, I still believe a Dark Gym will never happen. I read somewhere the reason for that is because Dark is supposed to be the Satanic, evil type, and the Gym Leaders are supposed to be holy and good.
That's stupid.
Dark Is Not Evil, so no Dark type gym is and always will be bullshit.
It's to the games what Ash will never win a league is to the series: a big pile of bullshit.
One Strip! One Strip! In Japanese, Dark-type is called Evil-type. That's it. Most Dark-Types moves involves using nasty tactics though.

Except that "Dark Type" is literally called "Evil Type" in the Japanese version. Which happens to be the "original" language version.

At best, we could get a another Giovanni- a Gym Leader that happens to also serve as an antagonist in the narrative. That way we could get a Dark-type Gym Leader.
Dark's never had a gym, but it's one of the more common E4 types if I remember correctly, so apparently GF has no qualms about having characters who specialize in dark types. Actually, I'm pretty sure they've said they just haven't come up with anything they've liked for a dark type gym though complete happenstance.
Wow, what a terrible episode today! The plot is exactly ripped directly from the Flabébé episode in that Bonnie bonds with a Pokemon she can't have, Bonnie spends nearly the whole episode in that stupid onesie, and they had the BALLS to make her cry! The whole episode looks like a terrible mess! Come on, XY writers, I thought you were better than this!
The region isn't over and they're already recycling a previous episode?
Wow.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?On the contrary, a great many actually considers this to be one of the finest episodes of XY. Mainly because of Bonnie.
Well, Bonnie episodes are always good. But this is definitely the worst one to me. Is it as bad as "Jostling for the Junior Cup" and "Mission: Defeat Your Rival"? No way. But do I have to make an Animated Atrocity sheet for it when I inevitably see it in English? Totally.
x2 Nobody on Serebii seemed to think it was the greatest episode, though many posters said it was good.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Hence one of, though maybe I should rephrase to better instead of finest. Anyways, next episode is A Day in the Limelight with Clemont's Bunnelby. Perhaps this will put to rest that forced meme that Pikachu "couldn't defeat a low-level Bunnelby". . Then again, many don't seem to realize what the whole point of that Mirror Universe episode was about.
There's a big difference between suffering a TKO by a newbie's starter (Trip's Snivy) and having a No-Decision against a Gym Leader, even with a Pokemon outside his element.
Of course. Hence why I said "forced". And that didn't stop people from saying that, unfortunately. Speaking of which, I've notice that people tend to stop around BW/Origins when talking about Pokémon Anime. Some like TheJWittz and WatchMojo.com rarely uses clips from the XY series, and if they did, it's likely from the Mega Evolution specials, movies, or the previews in 2013. It's very odd.

Next anime series will be called XY&Z◊
Noivern confirmed and seemingly the return of Sceptile
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru! Is that Mega Greninja? Also it likes my original theory that Ash's Team would be Pikachu, Greninja, Central (Talonflame), Coastal (Hawlucha), Mountain (Noivern/Goodra), and a Mega Evolution (Sceptile covering the missing Grass spot) turned out to be right.
If that really is Ash's Mega Sceptile that pretty much explains why they skipped over the Grass-Type. No point having one on the team when you're bringing back a Grass Starter for Mega Evolution. Though there is still the question if old Sceptile will stick around after the Team Flare/Zygarde Arc is done. Assuming this arc takes place between Gyms 7 and 8 like in the games maybe after Sceptile leaves Ash will catch Phantump/Skiddo right after and it gets to be the "un-evolved" member of the team.

Serena seems to be getting an Eevee◊.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!
