To be fair, most of the characters have had their "jerk" moments (even Skips contibuted to Rigby's humiliation in Jinx). The only regular cast members who didnt were Pops, Eileen, and Margaret. Thankfully, i havent seen any of that in the later seasons.

The cast is a lot tighter than when it started.

My take on Jerkass Characters is it depends on what the payoff to their arc is. Like in the case of Rigby we are seeing him become a better person, which is definitely nice. On the opposite end, when you have someone like Muscleman, it makes the joke of an episode like White Elephant Gift Exchange that much more hilarious.

They did premiere a new episode on the CN app today.

OK, all bashing of the guy who had the Knights avatar aside, when the heck is Regular Show coming back? I've even forgotten that it was a show I watch at one point.

J.G needs time to work with some new material, and I believe when Summer comes around, we'll see something in the works for next season.

They've been putting up episodes on the Watch CN app lately. I'm worried they're trying to kill the show at this point.

It's been on since 2010 i believe. I wouldn't be surprised that they tried.

So, thoughts on the newest episodes? Chili Cook-Off was a more low-key but still enjoyable episode with a much-deserved happy ending for Benson, while Donut Factory Holiday was very reminiscent of earlier episodes (thats a good thing btw).

[up] I was intrigued by the information in Gene's office. It pretty much implied he was involved with the dome experiment alongside Dr. Dome and Maellard. I wonder if they'll actually bring that up again since they never revealed what the true purpose of the experiment was.

So I was looking at this old interview from last year about Season 7 of Regular Show, and now I'm thinking of something. We all saw that not so subtle foreshadowing of Gene being in league with Maellard and Dr. Dome, right? Well JG Quintel says in the interview that the finale will be half an hour long, and "a really big deal for fans that have been watching the show from the beginning".

I think shit is gonna be going down.

Possibly. Is there any other possible foreshadowing that people have noticed?

wild mass guess Starla will get pregnant and she and Muscle Man will leave the park to raise their child, leading to another character replacing him (and with that you've got several options, either new characters, or relatives (ie, don, low 5 ghost), or allies, or even reformed villains).

I wonder if we'll see another character leaving the park, to be replaced with either a new character, a relative of one of the park workers (ie, don), an ally (though most of their allies wouldnt work as park employees), or even a reformed villain (ie, doug).

[up] No. Even though i like CJ, we do NOT need more awkwardness between her and Mordecai (which is what would happen if she became a park employee). Have her become friends with Margaret, give her a boyfriend, even have her and Mordecai be friends, but dont have them forced to be together in an awkward setting, it would just eventually lead to more love triangle drama.
