Good parody too.
New User HandleTwas intesting, for sure. I had fun playing it. But I don't think it could be a real classic. Currently, both games are collecting dust on my 'weird shit from Japan' shelve, next to Muramasa and Baroque.
Seriously, though, it had some good ideas. Using the motion sensor only for finishing moves was absolutely genius compared to all the Waggle that came out during those days. And the whole speach Travis gave Silvya after he killed Alice felt like a direct blow to the face of any gamer out there. Not to mention the motivation of the Big Bad of the second game. That was absolutely genius.
Now if only there were some more quoteable oneliners, I'm sure that his game could have been The Princess Bride of videogames. Alas, now I consider it little more then a curiosity tht certainly deserves some attention, but won't be as fondly remembered as some other games of it's time.
Moe~!
You got flamed.^ Beat me to it. :/
Just sayin'.
I only watched a playthrough of it but I liked the atmosphere, characters and music of the first game more TBH. Desperate Struggle's assassins were hit or miss and didn't have as much personality overall really. And the main villain was disappointing to say the least. Would've preferred had Skelter Helter been it. It even seems like that's should've been what happened.
Also, Sylvia in DS as a whole was just really unlikable. I didn't mind her as much in the first game(I had liked her even), but she seemed to have become more of a bitch in this one and her relationship with Travis felt more forced.
Favorite assassins would have to be Shinobu, Speed Buster, Destroyman, Letz Shake and Nathan. And of course:

^The first one's assasins are more memorable, but there are some ones in the second that are also pretty good. Matt Helms, Million Gunman( yes,you read well), Margaret, Kimmy Howell, and of course Captain Vladimir. God bless the Soviet Union.
I can't stop listening to thisPlaying this right now. Wow this game is genius.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.One of my favorite games of all time, though I was disappointed by the second one :|

The only thing that really, really dissapointed me about the second was the ending. The first easily has one of my favorite endings of all time, so the second's surprisingly...traditional ending was kind of a downer...
Yeah, this game was pretty nice x3 It was kinda odd after playing it when I checked from youtube what it looks like with blood xD
I take it you played the shitty censored version then? For shame...
I personally liked the second game more than the first, but both have incredibly high replay value. I've played through each about 3-4 times.

Someone mentioning Baroque in a NMH thread, just somehow makes me happy.
L-l-look at you, hacker. A p-p-pathetic creature of meat and bone, panting and sweating as you r-run through my corridors-s. H-h-how can you
Fun to play, good writing, awesome music and really cool characters. Both parts.
I can't stop listening to this
