There's nothing wrong with enjoying a scrap. There is something wrong with looking down on people who don't share your interest and thinking that makes them 'cowards', rather than 'slightly more sensible people than we are'. If you actually think it's okay to follow through on your first instinct to hit someone when they say something that enrages you, and furthermore think that anyone who voices an opinion you or someone else find distasteful should be dealt with with force by the 'injured' party, and if they don't want to accept those consequences they should shut up, then you're behaving like an infant. Not the cute kind, either.

By the way, here's a vlog from few weeks back with Diamanda Hagan and Spoony at Bro Con, and Spoony does talk about leaving TGWTG a bit, and what was involved and how he feels.

I'm kind of shocked at how people are unable to understand that character Spoony and person Spoony aren't actually same You would think that they would think he really does eat jars of pills and mutter about murders and such :P

Plus, while Spoony does stupid things, he isn't stupid enough to actually do something like that.

I wonder if Filby really did decide to quit. I mean if he did then he might not return to this thread unless he calms down from his over reading at his own.

I'm still reading the thread. And yeah, I did overreact.

Thing is... I made the mistake of putting Spoony on a pedestal, and when he started acting as ugly as any other human being, I was disappointed because I had unreasonable expectations. That's my fault. But it's still painful when someone you used to look up to says some really horrible things to people who are trying to be supportive and blames them for his problems. I just came away with a lot less respect for Noah than I used to have.

And I stand by what I said about his content: it's all anger, all the time now, and coupled with his public behavior, that's really depressing. And I also stand by what I said about his fan base: they're utterly toxic and only making things worse.

That's pretty much all I have to say.

Noah doesn't seem to hold anything against Channel Awesome, in story Spoony seemed to go breakdown so I think him lashing out does make sense considering that people who go down breakdown don't usually lash at people rationally.

Anyway, bad timing with story since it seems like he had planned something like that before real life had something unfortunate happening.

I doubt the videos are made that far in advance. The removal of the betrayal counter in the second video seems to have been a response to fan complaints, which would have only began after releasing the first video.

Noah said on his Twitter right after the dust cleared (I know this from reading threads here) that he was only then starting to film the second part of the review, and I believe the finale was filmed this month. In general he seems to take a week tops to edit and upload videos after he finishes the shoot. No idea how far in advance he plans or writes them.
