I wish for all life to go extinct

Granted. However, a dog wishes to change your wish to wishing that him and his brother would go home safe and sound.

I wish all the snow in my town would disappear overnight.

Granted. But that snow's gotta go somewhere, and it all ends up transported inside your stomach. Naturally, it can't contain all that snow and it bursts, causing you to die.

I wish I could control the weather.

Granted. You can control it, but there's a limit to how much you can actually control more dangerous weather and you end up unleashing a Category 10 hurricane.

I wish I didn't suffer from procrastination issues.

I wish the genie had to watch his friends leave him and ruin his life

Granted. It turns out the genie does not really have any friends in the first place (except for, maybe, some of the wish makers?) ^note  he was trapped in a lamp/bottle/whatever so long that his friends are probably gone by now, unless you consider the people making the wish to be their "friends" , so that wouldn't change much.

Granted. Pokecaptor Sean is now a back. Your back, to be exact (i. e. they are glued to you from behind).

I wish TV Tropes fixed lives instead of ruining them.

Granted. He has a stock of permanent deaths that he can give out when he normally operates under a no kill rule. Naturally, the genie uses his first usage of permanent death on you.

Granted. This comes at the cost of alienating your friends and family, for whatever reason.
