Rewriting the law to remove the spirit channeling requirement would be kind of a mistake. Doing so would tip her hand that she can't spirit channel, which would make her rule invalid, which would thus make that rewrite invalid.

Also, well, her authority comes entirely from the people. Without them practically worshiping her, no one has any reason to listen to a word she says. Ultimately "Queen" is just a title, and the country is already on the verge of revolution. This is made pretty obvious in her final breakdown, where the guards don't know how to treat her anymore.

not sure which case i liked the most, 2, 3 and 5 were all pretty damn good.

durkes death was a gut punch and a half. one of the few things in case 5 i didn't see coming

Dhurke was great, and I did not expect to see him gunned down in real time. Good thing all attorneys are good at bluffing, even while being shot.

Apollo is still my favorite defense attorney, though, because that humiliation conga on Ga'ran was beautiful.

he's definitely my favourite of the 3.

im pretty sure its not a fetish thing.

if i had to guess, i'd say the artist was just doodling,and found it funny enough to do a proper version of it.

speaking of uendo, owen's the only personality that doesnt play by same rules as the others. think its safe to say owen's the original?

uendo is most probably the original, as that's the one that everyone knows him as. if owen was the original, why would he only appear when unconscious

Not really sure it's safe to say that Owen is the original personality. On the one hand, his playing by different rules could indicate he was the original. On the other hand, his playing by different rules could just be him playing by different rules without being the original personality. So no, I don't think him playing by different rules is definitive proof he is the original personality.

maybe it could be a defence mechanism. maybe something happened to the original personality really early on in their life, and the 3 main personalities take over most of the time. something like in deadly premonition.

From what I understand about how DID works Owen is indeed the most likely original personality. Disassociating is a coping mechanism for abused children to make the abuse happen to someone else IIRC. Owen!s personality jives pretty well with that.

But if Owen is the original personality, then how come he's mentally 5 frickin' years old in a 28-year old's body? That'd place him at around...-18 years old when Uendo was actually 5. Now I'm no expert in psychology, so don't quote me on that. Though, now that it's the topic, it does seem a bit weird how Uendo, Patches and Kisegawa all know about Owen if they all need to be unconscious for him to show up, unless somebody told them about him at some point.

I'm guessing someone mentioned. "Hey there's this fourth personality we see when you're drunk. And I think it works like this, Owen had an outright awful life in his childhood and thus dissociated into Uendo, Patches, or Kisegawa. So basically he was one of those three the vast majority of the time, leaving the original personality immature due to lack of experience. I'm no expert either BTW.

He could be mentally 5 years old if he stopped growing up once he fractured apart into Uendo, Patches, and Kisegawa. Though I'm of the opinion that Uendo was the default personality and Owen is just a weird state he takes on when inebriated.

Perhaps sexual abuse was involved. Really glad they didn't go too much into detail to how they all got that way though.

I just got to the reveal that Dhurke's been dead this whole time. Showing him getting shot in real time with the models really surprised me since the series has never done that before. Terry Fawles's death was close, but nowhere near as graphic.
