okay but when you phrase it that way
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI doubt Aizen still has his sword for the simple reason given that while a Shikai that is broken can be repaired, Aizen's sword completely disintegrated until nothing was left.
If it is ending, he's being remarkably coy about it.
Remember, Unohana supposedly died to make Zaraki stronger. Worth it?
And yet we get Mecha-Kira taking on some bird things that Kyoraku and Nanao couldn't completely beat.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyZaraki has basically gotten the most plot focus of the shinigami characters this arc... and someone put it best
Zaraki himself isn't interesting... its the fact he is connected to all the interesting people... who then have to "die" to make him stronger.
I'm still waiting for my Zaraki payoff. To me, he'll have to do something REALLY major to justify two much more interesting female characters sacrificing themselves for him.
He hit Thor Plotwallson really hard, thats gotta count?
Secret SignatureI'd say no, since it in no way contributed to Giganthor's ultimate defeat.
It does if he has become the blade.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading. There are 8 chapters not yet released in tankuban format, and the volumes have been 10-11 chapters for years now. Three more chapters would put us at the August 8 double-issue, preceding the Obon/Peace Day/Assumption break. That is a logical time for a finale, especially if it means a double-length chapter.
Also my birthday.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThough the final volume might be extra-long.
Which makes for a heavy book.
Mileena MadnessAlso a book of the end.
The sad, REAL American dichotomySpoilers
Yhwach beats up Aizen and destroys Renjis bankai before tearing up Renji and Ichigo. Aizen however reveals he's the Ichigo he blew a hole in and ripped the arm off of as Ichigo attacks from behind with a white Getsuga Tensho(Same kind his Hollow uses).
Don't know what the chapter expects me to think other than Ichigo got his powers drained so I don't expect this to do anything really. Wouldn't make sense either.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. At least he got hit whether wounds mean anything for him .-.
I'm gonna laugh so much if next chapter start with "I see... so you think you were attacking me... Thank you for killing Aizen for me, by the way.
Well, this was one of those fun chapters that should be read together with at least one more, bcause on its own it ends way too quickly.
Who wants to bet that Ichigo's attack will fail? That's what happens pretty much every time a chapter ends in this manner...

Was that just Aizen being selfless now?
So...Aizen just basically did a reverse version of what he had pulled on Hitsugaya and Shinji during the Deicide Arc, with himself as the one being impaled?

I do wonder if this is enough to kill him. That attack went straight through his chest, where the Plot Marble is.
Gin cries from his grave.
Secret SignatureOh yeah, he is sure finished. I totally buy that this isn't another fake out like the dozens of other times in this manga.
When a captain is nominated
He has to demonstrate his release.
