Here's a quote from Keefertearl of Deviant Art that talks about Yhwach:

"I'm honestly not sure. The problem with Quincies is that when some Hollow gets in there, the bit of Yhwach inside them has to try pulling power from a spirit that can now pull that power BACK. The Yhwach and the Hollow enter a tug-o'-war, and if you add that to the balance issues that already come of a Plus partially Hollowfying... well, the whole thing ends up ripping itself apart.

But the thing about Yhwach, I realized that he's ALREADY reached some sort of equilibrium between Plus and Hollow. Pluses can "lend" bits of their soul to things, like when someone makes a Substitute Shinigami by lending their power to a human, or when someone makes a Zanpakuto by lending their soul to an Asauchi. A Hollow can "take" soul, eating it and pulling it into themselves, adding that power to their own. Yhwach does BOTH. He lends bits of his soul to other spirits, only for that soul to eventually take everything from its host. Then he pulls his soul back, along with all the power it absorbed. So, I'm not sure if introducing Hollow to the mix would effect him the way it effects his subjects.

HOWEVER! Ichigo HAS does something that no other spirit I know of has. He actually managed to assimilate his Yhwach soul into HIMSELF instead of the other way around."

So yeah Yhwach is the transendent being that Aizen was referring to.

Not sure if anybody's read these but these are Keefer's other analyses about Bleach:

That sounds like gibberish to me. Is that because I'm tired or does it really not make sense? Honest question.

I don't know.

Maybe I need to review my hollow knowledge, but it kinda sounds right.

Anyone else know.

I can understand it, but it's Fan Wank.

Fair enough.

So it makes sense in the context of what we've seen and what we know, but is a pure fan theory with no official standing is what you are saying?

I didn't say it makes sense in the series' context. Just that I can understand them.

edit: Actually, while I'd have to read more to be sure (and I don't really want to) it seems highly contradictory to the series, saying that Soul Suicide is caused by Yhwach's power while ignoring that Soul Suicide occurs in Shinigami/Hollow Hybrids (hell, introducing a dash of Quincy power is what actually prevents Soul Suicide in that case).

We've already had the mechanics of Soul Suicide explained, that person is presenting a completely different scenario that doesn't work. Also the "pluses can only give, hollows can only take" thing is unfounded.

I mean Fullbringers can give and take and they're not transcendent beings.

Oh.

Well, I still think it makes total sense based on what we know.....

Although I admitted there might be holes in my knowledge anyway, so I suppose that means nothing.

Edit: Wait. I read the edit of your post.

Yeah, you're right. Well, that ends that argument.

Where was it shown the Fullbringers giving?

And Keefer was referring to hollows being poisonous to quincies, the whole thing with the vizards was due to an imperfect hollowfication experiment by Aizen. And Isshen had to use his Shinigami powers to stabilize Masaki.

And Fullbringers are technically a mixture of a whole and a hollow so there's that. Quote:

"Fullbring: Even while still trapped in human form, a spirit’s partially-Hollow soul may still be used to pull at the soul outside. A group of such people conceived the art of pulling out whatever soul may reside in objects and matter. This art was called “Fullbring”. When an object is “Fullbrought”, the heart’s connection between the person and the object guides the resultant power’s form. What do you use this object for? How does it make you feel? What does it remind you of? These aspects shape the soul tugged out of the object into a shape revolving around those feelings. Water is often used as a beverage. You’ll be hard-pressed to find someone who does not have that connection with such liquids. So, one can easily Fullbring the water and magnify its ability to be drunken; it will actually float from your glass and pour itself into your mouth. There are very few people who do not use the ground as a means of support and movement. This connection is utilized when the ground itself is Fullbrought; the ground’s ability as a means of movement is enhanced enough to allow unparalleled jumping stunts. However, the strength and capabilities of a Fullbring is decided and restricted by two factors; how much power the person in question uses, and how deep the connection is between person and object."

Did anyone even read these pages?

[up]The whole principle of their working is investing their soul into items around them; and they stole Ichigo's fullbring, as well as sharing little bits of each other around.

Fullbringers may have just the right in-born mix of Plus and Hollow in order to be able to do both. Well, presuming the give/take thing at all. I don't actually give a damn enough to read longwinded rans about it.

Well, sometimes on a forum, people 'talk' to each other.

This is a forum for Bleach, not a forum for some random person's totally inaccurate interpretation of Bleach.

It's still talking about Bleach though.

I wouldn't know, I haven't been reading his posts.

I believe Saiga meant more that people don't need to converse about that specific topic if they decide they don't want to.

You could say that about any topic. We don't have to talk if we don't want to.

Which is why it's not really appropriate to say "why are you on a forum" in response to someone not wanting to talk about a particular topic.

Also this is a forum for talking to people also on that forum. Not for shoveling links to diatribes from other places.

[up]I'm pretty sure he has to explain how the games work though, at least eventually. I took that comment about being too soft to me that he tried to take it off but failed where as the old him wouldn't have.
