I suspect Ichigo is considered a War Potential because A. his bankai being unstealable probably has little to do with how well the enemy knows it and B. they might think he's still at the final Aizen fight level of power.

C. Maybe they suspect they can turn him for the same reason that Ginjou did?

^^ Are you thinking War Potential might refer to people they'd want to recruit? I doubt it. Yamamoto almost got labeled with it.

I wonder if Ishida is considered War Potential? Yes, yes, we all know he's not that strong, but Kirge seems to think he is.

I'd be willing to bet Ryuuken's one of them.

I bet Ishida turns to the Rich side.

And then Ichi and Ishida have to kill each other.

@Marq, read the chapter title. Read Bach's dialog. It's clear Yamamoto died from the slash, but his body kept on trying to fight until Bach destroyed it.

Well the new chapter was great...Old man is dead, SS is burning to the ground, a sudden explosion at the end, and also the explanation of why Orihime didn't healed the old man's arm.

I think pride is the leading cause of death in this manga.

Yamamoto's death was incredibly weak. At least let the captain commander die gloriously with a damn 2-page spread, but he's just discarded because we already saw his bankai. This will be even worse if he's actually alive considering how he died. All 13 divisions essentially off-screened? Yeah, dumb as hell, but hey, I hardly care about any of them, so whatever. Yamamoto was sort of "meh" to me as well.

How the hell does Bach know about Orihime and why the hell does Yamamoto think that he burdens the humans when Orihime is willing to heal people by just briefly asking her and she's essentially god?

This was really bad, most hated chapter in a while by me. But this is just my opinion.

He obviously has some significant source of intel, considering he knew about the entire battle with Aizen and where he was being kept, all the bankais, and Ichigo. Knowing about Orihime's ability isn't anymore unlikely than the other stuff.

And the captains haven't all been beaten yet- Hitsugaya, Komamura, Unohana and Shinji, at the very least, are still fine. Kensei, Ukitake, Mayuri and Soifon are probably okay but we can't 100% sure. Love and Kyouraku are currently ambiguous. They're just outgunned, outnumbered, and demoralized, meaning it's a pretty hopeless battle for them as things stand.

@Gliphon I guess the Orihime thing kind of makes sense considering he did visit Aizen and stuff can be easily speculated and assumed about the captains, but I think what bothers me is that Bach thinks he has beaten everyone, it's typical villain overconfidence and what ruined Aizen to me as well. "Oh, I don't need to think anymore, cause I'm all-powerful now!"

If they aren't then Bach is an idiot, if they are then all of this is cheap.

He is being sort of smart. He's gathered information about the various threats to his plan and he's even planning to pull back to avoid the inevitable Zero Squad counterattack. He just didn't expect ??? to burst out of the air suddenly.

If its Ichigo, he didn't expect it because he had a plan in place for him. If it was ??? then that guy is wily and you just don't know what to expect when ??? is working against you.

To clarify, I think this isn't nearly as annoying as the whole thing with Aizen was, but I guess it just bugs me. I just did not like this chapter at all, it rubbed me the wrong way and I very rarely post here unless I think a chapter was either really good or really bad.

They were all at least losing badly last we checked, except for Unohana. basically.

Maybe I'm just annoyed because whenever some of the most popular captains get spotlight/put in danger I feel like it's just there for ratings grab and because any time might pull something out of their asses to survive(ice clone, anyone?).

Yeah, that's totally holding true for this arc.

But- Tactically speaking, Bach totally has beaten the Gotei 13. Unohana's the only one left in SS who might stand a chance against him, but he's still playing it smart and choosing not to push his luck by rushing head first into a battle with squad 0.

Squad 0 probably shouldn't have any members stronger than Yamamoto.
