Noting for the record: Stock Phrases are not tropes of their own accord.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.I already said as much.
Yeah. The rename is fine, but we don't need any more "stock phrases."
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittySo do we just strike that part from the crowner or strike the entire thing and start it over?
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Any objections to proceeding with the rename without further mucking about with crowners?

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI think it is probably alright to go ahead with the rename process, but since there does not seem to be consensus for what the new name should be, I made an alternative titles crowner here to help sort that out.
However, staff members can obviously overrule me on this if they so choose.

Time Waits For No Sequel is leading at 3.5:1
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Time Waits For No Sequel is still winning, but it's not quite far enough in the lead to call it a consensus. Needs more votes.

Time Waits For No Sequel just seems like a cheesy pun. Something like Character Aged with the Actor is Exactly What It Says on the Tin, making it more fitting.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartI don't see how Time Waits For No Sequel indicates the correlation between actor/character age.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Character Aged with the Actor is 3:1. Is that enough?
Kabumpety. It doesn't look like the consensus is going to change any, and I'd like to finally get this over with.
That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulYeah, calling this crowner.
Getting Too Old For This is now Character Aged with the Actor, the wicks should be fixed, and there are notes about the change on the Renamed Tropes page and in the renamed tropes thread. I sent a report to move the archived discussion found here. There was quite a bit of misuse for the stock phrase, so most of the examples were actually cut. Since that was the case, it is probably even more important that someone else checks my work here.
I am wondering if it is a good idea to keep Getting Too Old For This as a redirect since I think it might just encourage more misuse for the stock phrase.

Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Yeah, probably best to cut that one entirely.
Getting Too Old For This was cut. We can lock up now.
Crown Description:
Previous crowner showed consensus support for a rename.
12 to 0, in favour, as of this post. Time to call it, it seems. o.o
