Anyone know any games where I can play as and/or befriend or even perhaps romance Orcs?

I had a lot of fun roleplaying an Orc in World of Warcraft but ive sworn off Mmos and they're usually just sword-fodder for generic heroes. I'm aware of Of Orcs and Men and Baldurs Gate 3.

Bleye knows Sabers.

The Elder Scrolls series is an obvious suggestion. All of them allow you to play as an orc, and Skyrim has a few that are romanceable (although I wouldn't count any of the romanceable orcs among the game's memorable characters). Skyrim does have one particularly memorable Orc librarian, but sadly he isn't romanceable.

Hedon Bloodright is a fast-paced retro shooter, so not exactly the ideal game for roleplaying, but it has a half-orc, half-demon hero, and portrays a somewhat interesting orkish society.

Beyond that, I'd just suggest digging through the video games section of Our Orcs Are Different, and find games where they're playable.

Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.

It might perhaps be worth mentioning the two non-MMO predecessors to World of Warcraft: The strategy games Warcraft: Orcs and Humans and Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness.

See our page for them, here: Warcraft

Note, of course, that these are very old games, and thus come with the playability troubles of such.

I pplayed both and I think that Warcraft II doesn't have big issues with controls. Warcraft I is other thing - here controls are very specific (like you can control max. 4 units etc.).

I we are speaking about romancing orcs, in Pathfinder: Kingmaker one of the romanceable characters is half-orc.

Hey guys, so I played this game called Immortals Of Aveum and I'm surprised that it hasn't received its own trope page yet because I found it to be a very enjoyable game set in a High Fantasy world with an All-Star Cast that includes Gina Torres with its own unique take on the First-Person Shooter genre. I'd definitely recommend this game to gamers

Fool's End. It relatively recently left Early Access on Steam. You go deeper underground using a pickaxe to chop down blocks and enemies in your path. You also have to take explosives and lava in account, they are dangerous, but they can also be of good use, especially the explosives. The use of physics in the game means that there are multiple ways to reach the exit in each level. A fun and challenging platformer.
