Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

1. Yeah but only kinda briefly and then he wins. He's not really bruised or anything. Yeah the trailer kinda shows it that he gets beat up and then trains up to kick ass.

2. Yeah but it's part of the cycle of media life. And it could help to raise awareness and stuff. Also money.

3. Arnie gets old fast? That is absolutely stupid I've seen montage after montage of Arnie doing stuff. Whether it's a montage of all his cream or his catchphrases or even his kills. Arnie is awesome. Arnie is in a sense comic and larger than life andthat quite frankly never gets old. S Amuel L does because he has to put on this badass facade on all the time and he doesn't do humour like Arnold does. But it's still funny to imagain Samuel L in a situation like me and my brother joked that Jumper was about Sammuel L Jackson wanting revenge on Christian Haydenson for helping to kill Mace Windu. And we joked about his stupid name Roland.

4. Proft is something the movie would have loved. As is gay people kissing in the movie. But at least a lesbien scene can attacrt more male veiwer.

^ He doesn't really train. You know why? He's the best fighter in all of Ontario, as stated in the books. Books which are graphic novels, not manga. Published in North America in English, set in Toronto, read left to right.

The odds are stacked against him. Plus Scott doesn't look at all like a fighter, we don't even see his training.

It may not be canon and stuff but for DAH MOHNEY and ther entertainment I say.

The Exes: in the order they appear.

1.How many 1st level bosses are that hard?

2. Who said the stunt-doubles were good fighters. He didn't beat the 2nd one, merely tricked him.

3. Again, tricked him, stripping him of his powers.

4. Ramona did most of the fighting and told Scott the 4th exes weakness.

5/6. Garage Rock is just that much better than Techno.

7. Probably the only legitimate win he got in the whole movie (and he lost the first fight anyway).

First of all, the Japanese twins are definitely not gay or they wouldn't have dated Ramona. Secondly, why the HELL would they know karate? Thirdly, Scott's too much of a lazyass to train, but he has mad skills from his youth. Fourthly, Roxie is half ninja. Finally, fuck sticking in lesbian scenes to please you.

That be true that Scott used his cunningness and that is almost fine. However I'm just saying the trailer had me thinking he would do training. Plus he tricked some incredibly dumb people like Todd Ingram and Lucas lee. He beat his first boss by flinging a pice of drum kitt at him, hardly the greatest strategy and more obvious to throw something.

The last boss fight is more epic as Scott struggles more and has to use a sword and stuff.

Look man I make the simple point that they have gay kisses in the movie and that lesbien kisses might increase viewership.

I know the Japanese take to effeminity more but cummon man an effeminate duo! Aslo dating Ramona was some time cak anyways. And they kow Karate because All Asians Karate.

Half-ninja makes no sense. Is her profession split, is she part-time?

Yeah we've all heard of dance training. Heck it was in Gekiranges, and it sucked. That ain't real training. Real training involves sweat and groaning and then finally a roar of triumph.

Yeah the Katangi dudes are twin but I think Japan isn't as adverse to incest as other cultures, I may be wrong. But anyways the Katanagi twins are at the very least not very interested in women.

Ok so one of her dads is a ninja but ninja isn't a rce but a profession. It's not long hair that is gay it is Japanese effeminate dudes who obviously take more time for makeup then women who look gay. They may be cheap tactics but so is having that shot with Ramona in her underwear. Don't say this movie holds some kinda high moral standards.

Well after playing FPS all the time I seemed pretty good with a firearm on my first try. And did you see what they had to do in that Dance game?

Your only gonna understand the twins if you read the book. Ramona cheated on them with each other and made them fight with each other, ever since then they swore revenge against her and that they'd never be put against each other again.

This has been said in some of the threads in the videogame forum. Masculinity is not the same in Japan as it is in America.

Canon shmanon. The amp vs amp battle wasn't apparently cannon but it was cool and it made the movie better.

In the UK you can buy Scott Pulgrim in Waterstones. Not even the big waterstones, I found it in a midsized "few hours out of Glasgow" waterstones. In a waterstones comic book section, you are guaranteed to find: Watchmen, Scott Pilgrim, anything by Neil Gaiman, several Batman anthologies and trades and a few of the other Alan Moore big hitters.

Ok well really again I'll have to make my scoffing mention of trying to be interdiscplinary and expecting them to make you an expert into something else. It's a common joke we hear when a plumber thinks he can do an electricians job just because they're both home maintanence etc.

Look man again I tell ye that Scott Pilgrim had gay guys kissing. Scott Pilgrim is not some high end movie you know. It's not like the film contains deep themes and an ovetrly detailed and complex mythos. Do not think this movie is intellectual, neither was kickass. I'm saying you might as well have a lesbien scenes in their if it increases viewership. Yeah I hate TF 2 but atleast it's successful enough to get a sequel that's hopefully better. My reaction to the Star Trek movie was also the same of "oh this shit ain't for trekkies or sci-fi fans but the average idiotic knuckle dragger" but I accepted the movie because more than enything else, I wanted the franchise to survive and be relevant. You can't always relie on the hardcore fans and atleast the reboot maens Star Trek still ahs a future. Scott Pilgrim flopped at the box office so no sequel for you. Had it succeeded then perhaps the franchise would be more releveant and have more life.

Oh and TF 2 had soe of the most badass Transformer figthts ever. That foreest fight may bhave been the most epic fight I have ever seen. It was poetry in motion and it gloried in it's heroiricism. My point is not every second of the movie was intolerable.

She may not have been a slut machine with Scott but on their fiorst date it's already 3rd base and she had a lotta x's and a lotta curiousity and experminetation and stuff.

Ok you said you're good at firearms but you are no expert by your own admission. Again the same thing that Scott dancing might give him some edge in combat but it makes him no expert.

You'd be surprised. My 45-year-old boss went and saw the movie with his family. He and his 11-year-old son really dug the movie and they're reading all the books.

Also, non-intellectual doesn't mean it has to sink to the level of cheap gimmicks to draw moviegoers.

EDIT: MORE STUFF. Gay guys kissing isn't mutually exclusive from intellectual film. And there will never, ever be a sequel because the author is done with the series.
