This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

~Kquinn0830: The PM conversation in question left no context as to what was being "reported" by ~Nubian Satyress that got you so upset. The last time a public report about you was made in Ask The Tropers was in April 2017, and we resolved that.

Again, I apologize for every crime on this place I have ever committed, and I swear I will never again touch any of the pages I have apparently "vandalized". I'm aware that bashing TTG and TW will get me banned until my death, but still, I apologize for my heinous actions. For now on, I will only focus on the Tropes Pantheon and minor edits to trope pages that are within the rules.

It doesn't matter the creator, the work, etc. Bashing - of anything - comes from a mindset we don't want here. You can criticize constructively in reviews, but edits anywhere in wiki should be about communicating information, not your own personal opinion.

Hello, I have been patient for a week now. Please, tell me which edit wars I was involved in other than the one on Black Panther (2018), which I have admited to, as well as my suspected "agenda".
I get it. Again, I apologize for that offensive edit, and would just like my account back so I could return to helping out at the Pantheon.

My apologize for my constant edits that I did years ago. Especially since my grammar wasn't the best at the time. I'm trying my hardest to make up for it by getting help with the Help With English thread. Especially since I'm currently in a class that teaches about communication and grammar. 
On the positive side, I been reading more about the editing style on the site and now taking this site more seriously than I did years ago. Hopefully my suspension might get releases someday. Let me know if it's safe, and if not I will continue working on the Help with English thread till it's perfect. No hard feeling right?

@nombretomado: I'm very much aware that name calling was uncalled for. I regret that.
To be precise, my point was to keep page in its old state until a mod came in and gave the final decision, the problem was that the user constantly put back his edits on page to remain and didn't accept any other way out. Frankly, that was grating and it was also when I reached my limit.
I definitely understand the mistake I've made though. I could have been patient and acted "better" to get it his way until the mod made the final edits, I suppose. The rest is just childish excuses.

~Bellemoonflower, everyone thinks they are right in an edit war. The difference is being the one who acts appropriately - PM mods, post to ATT, go to the discussion page. Again, don't do these things and continue to edit war. It will get you suspended just as much as edit-warring without. Got it?

It's not uncommon for editors to frequent certain pages. If your tastes overlap, then it's bound to happen. You are also not in a position to make demands like this, especially not without evidence.

(I'm assuming you mean 'treat'). The wiki is a collaborative effort, and every troper has a right to edit a page. "This way" is...what, exactly? Editing? Edit warring? Disagreeing with you? It's hard to parse what, exactly, made you so upset, except that based on the 'stalking' accusation it's the third one.

As a participant in the disputed example, you are by default invited to the conversation. No gilded invitation necessary. The edit reason with the ATT note was made on Feb. 16. You were suspended on Feb. 17.

ATT is not a backdoor. It's the conventional place to discuss disagreements.
I don't even want to touch the leftist propaganda accusation with a 10 foot pole, frankly, so let me just comment on the edits on YMMV.Black Panther 2018 that brought this whole thing up. You can hold the political opinion that you hold, but attempting to shoehorn that opinion by misusing tropes is a violation of our rules. This, coupled with other edits (such as on Main.So What Do We Do Now) make us believe that you, at best, don't much care for the Rule Of Cautious Editing Judgment in the name of "improving" the wiki.

~Andrew369, the last time you posted in the Help with English thread was 2016. Your post here isn't terrible, but we don't want to release you only to end up back here again.
Can you rewrite this edit you made a couple years ago with proper grammar?
- Arch-Enemy: They despise the MacArthur from The Police Cadets, especially Cadets first but after "Shawshank Ridonc-tion".Ridonc-tion", Sanders are on their list as well. One of the fine example is during that episode itself, the confess that normally they will be upset that they get second to last but seeing the Cadets eliminated makes them more happier.

I have one more question before you plan on lifting my suspension. Since I'd been getting help with the English thread for a while now. Will I be able to edit, or add a trope that I added on my To Do List? Because I would usually add an example with corrected grammar to my List (Which I plan on adding with better grammar to the correct page). Does this mean I'm allowed to add these examples to a page?

Okay. I'll try my best to improve there again. But I'm a bit worried since the last time I posted and ask for improvement or advice over there, my post was ignored.
I know it is rude for me to ask but how many times or improvement that I need to post in the Help with English thread to get my banned lifted? I need to clear my doubts first.
I'm sure it wasn't on purpose. The amount of available tropers in that thread tends to vary, and it's likely that your post was just accidentally overlooked.
It differs. We don't require you to be 100% proficient at English to have your ban lifted, but we need to trust that you showed substantial improvement. This is usually demonstrated by consistently posting in the Help with English thread.
Ultimately, our goal is that you don't need that thread to make your edits passable, just for touch-ups.
When you mean touch up, you mean to keep up to date if I did improve or not?
Cause I did posted most of the time for tropes and word improvement over there in that thread (before my long hiatus) but due to me waiting for so long for me having my suspension lifted... I am not so sure after my time over there a few years ago.
Regardless I still plan to improve my English over at that thread but how would I be notify of the suspension lifted even after I did post there just to ask?
Please help me clear my doubt.

Right now, you need the Help with English thread to be grammatically correct. You should get to the point where the "help" isn't fixing your grammar mistakes, but just making your writing sound more natural. Does that make sense?
Compare these two write-ups. The second one is better because it doesn't have grammar issues, even though it could benefit from the Help with English thread to make it sound more natural.
- Water-Geyser Volley: In The Lion King the hyenas places Zazu in 'the birdie boiler' that rocks him apparently straight to Mufasa.

You should post here to request your suspension be lifted, not the Help with English thread. Moderators don't monitor that thread, so I would suggest you make an appeal here when the tropers in the Help with English thread only have one or two fixes for your examples.

~Bellemoonflower, to be precise, you didn't say they sounded like an asshole, you said they were being an asshole. There was no need to be rude, for one.
The main issue is the edit war, which you both participated in. When they reverted it again, the correct thing to do would have been to bring it to a mod's attention or post it to ATT and then leave it. You PM'ed two mods...but then resumed the edit war. This does not give you an excuse to continue the edit war.
Lastly, the other troper already came into this thread. It is irrelevant to your appeal.

We also don't lock unless there's a good reason....like someone who's persistent about injecting rampant negativity. The only person who's been doing that is you.
The last time you came in here was also for unnecessary bashing. You said you it was a stupid mistake then, and you were right. It's still a stupid mistake. If we release your suspension, and you go and do it again, you would be permanently banned.
