Fuckloads of music on Bandcamp.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Definitely video games for me here. I do longplays of video games that I post to Youtube, so I'll usually buy a good number of video games. I'm more of a somewhat retro gamer, with mostly Playstation 1 & 2 games Gamecube and Wii. Although I'm probably going to stop in a little bit though. I currently have over a hundred Playstation 2 games and the gods know how long it's going to take for me to finish all of them. Not to mention I want to start going to more conventions soon.
this. specifically cassettes. cant get enough of 'em
YISSSSSS. I actually have a cassette release which is one of three copies.
That's on the longer version of my gaming short-list, which isn't very long to begin with.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Reminder that Night In The Woods is very good but also kind of a painfully close to home game for many so... use your best judgement.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"I watched RockLeeSmile play it and, uhhhh, yeah. Especially if you've struggled with mental illness, lived out in the sticks or somewhere where everyone knows everyone, had serious financial troubles, or felt yourself drifting away from really close friends due to life bullshit. Also loss. Loss is a big part of it.
It's going to hurt worse when I play it myself, I think. But I'm OK with that.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.as a gay guy with mental health issues, Gregg's route was especially rough for me. But I love him and angus so much q_q
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"I feel really bad cuz I got relatively far into NitW but I dropped it for some reason.
I wanna get back into it though. So fucking good.
Long live the New Bev.His relationship with Angus reminded me a lot of my own, although as a person I think I'm a lot more like Mae, for better or worse.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.I kinda relate to Mae to an almost unhealthy degree...
Also on cassettes, this is probs the rarest thing I own. Edition of 40, sold out in a few minutes.

Time to resurrect this thread again. :V
I've lately been thinking of comm'ing somebody for a proper animal-person 'sona, something that I've been lacking for a long time. But I've been stalling because I keep flip-flopping on minor details. The thing I really can't decide on is their body type; should they have the same body type as me, or can it be different; dare I say, idealised? And should it have realistic proportions or more cartoony ones? I'm an indecisive person and I'm fairly certain this is a nightmare even for a decisive one. :V
"If you think like a child, you will do a child's work."Idealized is ok, and don't feel like you have to only have one style. many people have various sizes or shapes of their character
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"It's just silly "avatar" for yourself. Can be anything.
If you want to make it some "idealized self" go ahead. Just try to avoid going overboard or it comes off as some odd power fantasy.
Toony? Realistic? Weeby? Why stick to one? Why not use just one? All valid questions. And valid choices.
Mine is just me as an animal-person, slightly idealised but mostly just an extension of myself.
Anywho, how's everybody? I'm getting dental surgery in a week and I'm listening to St. Vincent's Actor for the zillionth time.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception. My 'sona, as seen in my avvie there, is entirely unlike me physical appearance wise, so whatevs.
Also I'm doing great! It's a mighty fine Mother's Day over here.
Long live the New Bev.Dentists...
idontlikedentists
Why would you not like dentists? They're hyoomin human just like the rest of us. :V
I just don't.
My old dentist was an asshole. He constantly gave me shit for having bad teeth. Like, if I had good teeth, I wouldn't be at the dentist, now would I?
I don't have much of an issue with dentists, even after I had to be awake for four of my teeth being sawn apart and forcibly dug out of my jaw.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"I squirmed with discomfort just reading that!
My dentist was super chill. He'd be like "alright ya got a couple cavities bro, but chill. We got this." I mean, he didn't say it like that but wouldn't be awesome if he did?
Long live the New Bev.
True that, but I'm usually reluctant on discussing real life on the interent. That stuff just now though, makes me intenrally cringe and laugh and I don't know why.
Sad fact, people can get really annoying or pissed easily, and I just rather not deal with it. I might be generally a grump, but not pissed 24/4 over everything
ANYWHO. When you have money set back and still have some disposable income after that, the dillema is this; art, or video games?
