One of his cohorts would have been Cuculihan or whatever its spelled in the Void Ark wouldn't it?
Wouldn't say "cohort". (Post-Zurvan spoilers?) He'd be one of the Auracite-wielding warriors that Unukalhai and the other would-be Warriors of Light tried and failed to defend his world against.
Cloud of Darkness and Belias probably also are among that number.
I have a message from another time...Huh, as would Scathach and Diabolos, I guess? Somehow I never really made that connection until now.
So, I finally finished the Kobold, Amalj'aa, Sahagin, and Sylph quests. Now I just need to finish the Ixal.
Their quest line involves crafting. Crafting a lot of high quality items. When my crafting classes have barely been touched.
They're designed to be doable even if you've never touched crafting before, and the items you need to craft scale with your crafting skill.
Well, they're designed to level crafting classes.
A lot of their crafts are not pleasant, but at least they give you all but the crystals for free.
I'd probably recommend Weaver first, since there are missions that disable your cross-class skills, and Careful Synthesis is not one you want to lose.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. Here are my levels at present after some toiling.◊ Soon I will be ready for the birds.
But I want to get all of these classes up to 20 first, just to be safe.
Ixali crafts used to be WAY worse. Some of them had stupidly high requirements for HQ crafts until the devs nerfed them.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Unless I got into it after the nerfs I never recalled having any problems with it, and I took Weaver and Culinarian to 50 through the Ixali.
I'm still pissed about the game more or less requiring you to level all crafting classes to viably craft. I'll never really get into it because of that.
I just got to Idyllshire and spent all my tomestones on level 60 gear for my WHM, which means I have to level crafting again so I can repair the stuff, and I had forgotten Ixali crafting was a thing. I should look into that.
Yes I know I can just pay the NPC but Dark Matter is portable. I always forget to check my gear until I'm already in the dungeon.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. So anyone have any fun glamours?
No, I been sticking with the AF 3 gear for WHM, RDM, and PLD cause they're sexy as fuck.
And I am calling it quits on the Omega raid. I been fighting Exdeath (normal) for fucking weeks and I'm still stuck on 3/4 shafts. At this rate I'll just get enough tomestones to upgrade my alt jobs.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. On tanks, I've been wearing the Wyvernskin Mane of Fending, dyed Rose Pink, for the longest time. If I close the visor, I have the head of a lion with a pink mane. Been working on good body glamours to go with it, everything from a normal suit of armor with a pink cape, to perhaps getting the piggy outfit, because it kinda looks like any given furred creature.
I have a message from another time...I somehow wound up with a very western Samurai and a very Japanese Paladin
In that vein, I was very close to getting a machutil and the courel mask and making myself a Jaguar Warrior for Paladin too.

I use my AF1 gear on my BLM and WHM exclusively. Unless they make something even more evocative of that classic look, those glams are never coming off.
This is my current dragoon glam. I love it, because all the metal pieces dye the same shade, which is rare, and it still manages to look like the armour of a dragonslayer without the belly window of the original DRG artifact set.

I don't think I'll ever be able to move away from the Midan Fending gear set, it just looks really cool to me.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Oh, and my headgear as Summoner must be the Caller's Horn. It clips through my pompadour just right and makes me look like I have a tiny narwhal on my head.
I have a message from another time...Well, on my tank (mainly DRK) I try to go for a "light/medium armor" look instead of straight up tin-can.
And for my Red Mage, I *always* need to have a Nice Hat, no exceptions, and I prefer to avoid the dresses robes.
My current glam is the Faire swimsuit.
Which made progressing through HW rather amusing.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Finished with Heavensward, Part 1. I was kinda underwhelmed that the Knights of the Round wound up being so easy, but it seemed like a nice, peaceful conclusion to the story.
And then Nidhogg suddenly came back. Come on, man, you died like twice already.
For what it's worth, the Extreme version of that one is largely considered to be one of the most challenging, well-tuned and well-designed boss fights in the game.
Even speaking as someone who usually avoids extreme and savage content, it's probably one of my personal favourites.

It makes you earn that beastly theme song, too.
Most of the MSQ bosses are kind of easy in Heavensward, but I think Stormblood does a better job with it so you can look forward to that.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.
If our characters spent the first half or so of the storyline siding with Delita because he's the one who history remembers fondly and we are given a skewed perspective, would that be interesting or frustrating?
Also, I wonder if this is gonna tie into Unukalhai's plot line. His backstory is a direct reference to FFT's Auracite/Lucavi plotline.
