holy fuck they're getting rid of grand company restrictions in PVP
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaDon't get your hopes up. They are just testing it to see how well it will work.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. Finally gonna be able to level Chocobos decently with the new patch.
Is there a link to the highlights somewhere? I like the idea of leveling chocobos sensibly, because that was such a chore. My first character's bird only got to level 10 a couple of weeks ago.
Of course, that also means S-ranks and Odin are going to be even more of a clusterfuck.

Clusterfuck, yes, but I don't think the killing will be too much faster since Chocobos are quite stupid and attack slowly.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. They also don't know how to stay out of telegraphs.
Healer Chocobos would be so much more survivable if they wouldn't stand right next to me when I tank.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.I FINALLY got my Eorzea book after waiting since October. It's sooooo gooood. And I think I may make quite a number of updates to the FFXIV trope pages >.>
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.just got an email saying my book is on the way
hype is high

"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaIt does seem like Nael's character info is in need of a good bit of cleanup,
Well let me read the whole book first!

Wrong thread, pal.
Reading more of the book, it goes into a nice summary of how every job works and it even shows off screenshots of everyone level 3 Limit Break and some of the job skills. The Jobs sections also showed off relic weapons from 2.0 and 3.0, reasoning behind the design for the artifact gear, and they even showed off 3D renders of the artifact v2 gear by itself without a character wearing it. This bit describing the Scholar's Angel Feathers is interesting:
"The faerie spread her angelic wings, and a shimmering light exploded over the battlefield. As it washed over me, I felt my pain subside, and where I had thought myself fatally broken, I was whole again."
-Anonymous adventurer describing the healing power of a scholar's faerie companion.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.STORMBLOOD ANNOUNCEMENTS (thus far):
- Red Mage confirmed as a hybrid melee/caster DPS. Useses some sort of crystal for off hand slot. Uses a mixtures of melee attacks to lunge in close and then jumps away to nuke with magic.
- Will be starting at Level 50 (may change later on) and supposedly, can be unlocked in ARR.
- Swimming is confirmed!
- Will have some sort of magicked item on hand so you cannot drown.
- Only a few areas in ARR will have swimming. Cannot swim in shallow waters.
- Only flying mounts can dive underwater.
- 8 man raid will revolve around the Omega Weapon (remember that in 2.3?). Details of the raid will be teased during 3.5, but it will be optional like Alexander was.
- 24 man raid dubbed "Return to Ivalice". Scenario will be handled by Final Fantasy Tactics creator Yasumi Matsuno while the bosses will be designed by Keita Amemiya.
- New beastmen race dubbed Ananta. They look like the Lamias from Final Fantasy XI and are female only. Live in waters near Ala Mihgo and are being suppressed by the Garleans. Their primal is Lakshmi. The Ananta are said to be experts in gemcraft and magic.
- Nobuo Uemastu is composing the main theme for Stormblood.
- Pre orders begin January 24th. Release date estimated to be June 20th 2017.
- Collector's Edition will include a wind-up Bartz minion, a Chicken Knife for Red Mage, and Slydra mount.
Shame Ivalice is only a raid. Would of loved to seen some races from it make it into the game.
... I have no idea what job a Spider-Man t-shirt can hint at.
Perhaps Blue Mage? If in this case the radioactive spider is a monster and Peter survived its attack.

Oh Thal's balls, I'm going to dread seeing Red Mage icons in the party list the way I dreaded seeing Ninja starting about a week after 2.4 or DoRK starting pretty much right after 3.0, aren't I?
Ah well, it does look pretty cool.

Huh.
I never stopped to consider it, but Arcanists and their respective job offshoots must have some serious finger strength in order to hold those tomes.
I mean, some of those tomes are textbook sized, and yet my scholar can hold them up with just her fingers. That's not just holding them, it's holding the up so you can read the book.
