A bunch of backstory for the Scions

I've never been to the Aquapolis.

I end up making a decent, stable profit just selling the maps I gather that would take me there.

Man, I never would have guessed Papalymo is the oldest of the Scion's especially by such a large margin. That being said I have to wonder just how deep his and Yda's relationship goes after these, it does seem like there might be something there

Aquapolis is pretty fun, but I've only ever run it with FC mates. The trolldoors are always a laugh, and yeah, a full run (we often seem to be lucky) will get you well over 100,000 gil in cash alone. Could be far more depending on what loot you manage to get.

So I was very bored and did a /slap on Khloe. At least 4 people reacted towards me for that. I giggled.

While I'd love the lore book, Australia is on the "Why would we sell to you?" list for so many things that I just don't bother looking for these sorts of things anymore.

So we full on Tactics Ogre now, looks like. Nybeth, theme and all, is a recurring necromancer boss from that game.

Not too surprising since the whole Palace of the Dead is a long shout out to that game the same way Sirius Tower was to FFIII and so much else is to other Final Fantasies, but it's cool to see them be so overt about it to non-Final Fantasies, too.

So I'm attempting to reach the 200th floor in the palace of the dead. My FC mates and I reached the 150th floor and we're talking a small break. I read how stupid strong the trash mobs are going to get and I am so scared that we are gonna wipe.

Ok, obscure moment, but one of the cutscenes related to the Pharos Sirius dungeon (or maybe it was the Hard Mode) has the old Lalafell mention that the Warrior of Light looked like someone he knew when he was hunting sirens.

Is he just being old and getting mixied up with an earlier quest involving him, or is that actually a bit of backstory for the Wo L?

I'm fairly sure it's him being old and confusing you for your own son/daughter.

I thought so.

Still would have been a nice little bit of backstory to the Wo L.

Considering that the Warrior of Light is supposed to be whatever the player wants them to be for their history, the devs are gonna intentionally keep their backstory blank.
