YES! This is the Devil we loves to watch and "hate"! The ultimate troll!
Now that's more like old times! And that changed image is pretty reminiscent of one of Blue's previous positions...

I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotWell this is at least an appropriate time to slow the action. It's building tension!
Oh my gods...I....I laughed at a Sinfest strip. I should feel dirty but...its some of the old Sinfest we know and love peaking through!
Through the eyes I have known you.Honestly I'm having trouble appreciating any of the good qualities of this strip since it's making it apparent that you guys' tinfoil hats about all this being a setup to separate Blue from the Devil were spot on. Actually the first strip in a while that's kinda gotten under my skin.
New comic:

I…got nothing. Literally. Can anyone see anything? Because I can't.

Nope. There isn't a comic there.
It's up now, and I can honestly say Tats may have just straight up M Night Shyamalan'ed our asses.

Whelp, that was surprising. Did Tat's just pull a positive twist on our asses?
&
Geez, way to tease a guy. With the way you were talking, I thought he just revealed that his whole feminism obsession WAS the hoax a lot of WMG-ers thought it was.
Oh, btw, throwing a new term out there for the Sisterhood and Monique and everyone else's brand of extremism: Vajihad.
I tentatively take back my criticism of the previous strip, contingent on it remaining the case (as it appears to be now) that this was not in fact an elaborate setup to separate Blue from the Devil.
I reserve the right to take back this take-back in the near future as will probably prove necessary.
As enjoyable as these two comic pages are. I can't help but to notice that Vainglorious hasn't been seen for quite a while or Xanthe. I am honestly expecting an appearance this week or next. Let's see there is the Fuschia story. Vainglorious Original bot and orange, and lil e Devil slick B Lue Assassin bots Monique and absinthe

...whoa. Is the Devil planning on PROMOTING Blue? His grin seems positively satisfied!
Platypi hold the secret to happiness.I will be honest Xanthe actually improved slightly since her initial appearance. So I rather see her then Vainglorious.

Wow a woman getting a positive review based on actual performance? That FIEND!
I guess exploiting the majority of women to make money whilst treating one of his favourites with genuine respect is a fairly villainous behaviour model.
It's like, he knows exactly what he's doing. He just doesn't care.
Also doesn't even work as a pun. How are you supposed to pronounce it?

Except he isn't shown exploiting the majority of women at all. We even got to see a woman working in a high end clothing store. She had the authority there to accept murder as payment, so she probably was high in the command chain there.
Only devils are shown to be working in the sex trade. Even then I find it questionable to call it "exploitation". It's not like they are being dragged in chains to work there or the pay is bad. Why don't they pick another career path? Fuchsia has left and seems to be able to get by just fine.
It's just what working in the sex industry is. Not always clean, pleasant or good for your self worth, but to call it exploitation by default is going too far in my opinion.

I'm assuming that's what Tat's is intending to get across whilst being unwilling to actually show it properly.

Then it just isn't there. You can't have a giant tract of the evils of the sex industry without actually showing anything happening in the real world that makes people suffer from it. Women in Sinfest aren't exploited or marginalised, yet somehow we all need to pretend that they are? Why?
I'm not saying the devil hasn't got a notable lack of evil deeds to his name. What I am saying is that this particular scene would not be OOC for the character Tats clearly thinks he has written.

Well, to be fair to Tats, Absinthe has expressed terror of being sent down to that rung before. Chances are, the prostitution area also doubles as a place The Devil sends those who displease or disappoint him in some way.
So yeah, the evils ARE there, Tats just doesn't focus on them that much.
Of course, while it is bad and all... if Absinthe knows the price of being demoted, then she should stop doing this that threaten her being demonted.
It's not like she is choosing to disobey orders because they are immoral. She doesn't even have moral high ground.
That is wonderful! I love that.
