Part of me is torn actually. On one hand we have someone who could probably stand up in a fight against the Sisterhood, on the other hand the someone in question is potentionally one of the biggest sues this comic has seen since, well, The Sisterhood.
Ah screw it. Sue is sue, this guy is gonna suck.
-busts out the Mary Sue meter, before I can turn it on it bursts into flames-
Well..... shit. Haven't had that happen in a while.
Looks as if my calling him Lord Peckerhead was right on the money, huh?

But wait, isn't it possible that this guy is Vainglorious or something?
It's pretty much a GIVEN that this emo douche is Vainglorius. Doesn't stop him from being Sue as all hell by all appearances.

DBZ reference is always the best kind.
Also, Vainereal is what I'm going to call him. That is honestly all I could think of when I saw that douchie close-up of his face.

The Artist is the guy who owns Percy and Pooch, and so, yes, we have seen him before.
http://www.mansionofe.comI thought "the Artist" referred to the person who made those paintings and sculptures in that museum that Fuchsia and Sapphire are at.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. No, that's apparently a new character. Also, it's typical that Tats would turn what seemed to be a decent throwaway gag into more hype for his newest pet.
Conception is sin Birth is pain Life is toil Death is inevitableHot Mary Sue on Mary Sue action: What's the point if neither can hurt the other in any lasting manner?
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotIt's been only one comic, and I am now dreading how bad this is going to get. I really get a feeling he is going to be on par with Xanthe in terms of how unlikable he will be. Just calling it now Fuchsia dumps criminy for edgy mc emo artist.
Sinking the Fuchsia/Criminy ship? Fuck you in advance Tats if that's your plan.
Conception is sin Birth is pain Life is toil Death is inevitableI can hear Linkin Park blaring in the background the moment this ass appears on screen. Tats has managed to make another character that's unlikeable the moment he shows up. Scratch that, he was unlikeable even before he showed up because of the pretentious ART and name. How the hell does a man who's in his FORTIES and has been at this for years still manage to write nothing but unlikeable Sues to drive his story forward?
Also vital questions Tats loves to ignore: How? Why?
Uh, Tats?
The list of "What makes a character Mary Sue" is not a suggestion list for how to build a character. It's how not to make a character.
Just so you know.
I just had a thought. What if Tats actually has no idea that Mary Sues are actually bad things? What if, because of the feminine name, he thinks all of the complaints of the archetype is just whining from dudebros?
It would further reinforce the idea Tats is some sort of alien who never personally interacted with this world at all.
Mhm. Or rather, the previous Tats was a human. The semi-regular alien strips with x-tron needs y strips attracted an alien, who ended up taking that Tats' place.
, obviously.
Conception is sin Birth is pain Life is toil Death is inevitable@Cladriah: I actually called that like a week ago, it's rather disconcerting that I'm not the only one seeing that thread in the comic.
This guy is actually a human wearing fake horns and tail with a miniature Tesla coil hidden up one sleeve.
New comic:

Oh dear, the Devil's back. Blue better say her prayers…
Why can't Tats just stick to making comics like this?
I love God in Sinfest.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0Good gravy but I missed the Almighty Hand of God. I don't even care that Tats is most likely using this to pad out the comic so that The Devil's meeting with Baby Blue ends up a Sunday comic.

Now he's just recycling the same joke three times in a week. Or does he believe our memory doesn't stretch beyond Sunday?
Aw geez, the Worf Effect is for used by having a new someone easily beat up an already strong character to establish how tough the newbie is.
Is there a trope that establishes a new character's toughness by doing a task that no others could do?
EDIT: Pagetopper.
