I knew that was sarcasm. that was my sarcastic response. because it's not worth getting worked up over for a character who has shown up once. personally I thought she was a better take on wonder woman than the nu 52 once azzarelo ruined her with the reboot.

Well, actually, you'll notice that they've actually made the "feminists hate men" joke at least twice now, which means I'm well within my limits for complaining.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.twice across 11 years. and 6 seasons. the first one was almost 10 years ago in season 2. and the first one was based off a real person, and this one wasn't feminists hate men it's "stereotypical" amazons hate men.
but whatever this is getting us nowhere and is just going to go in circles, so let's just drop it.
I hope we get a longer season this time. last season was only what 8 episodes? hopefully 6 is longer.

Haven't watched the latest, but I wanted to mention that way back when Hunter Gathers was first introduced, he mentioned that Brock has a brother. I've always wondered if we're ever gonna get to meet him, or if Doc and Jackson have forgotten about that.
It's going to be so sad when they run out of money.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.you mean hilarious.
So, I liked Brock's reaction to getting hit by the trick arrows.
It didn't bother me so much because it was an actual argument that a DC editor used back when they first started to get criticized for the lack of diversity in comics. Like I dunno, maybe it was their own Take That! at criticisms they received but I think it also highlights the absurdity that comic fans would legitimately argue that someone like the Martian Manhunter is the perfect standin character for all minorities.

"Fallen Archer" is hands down the best pun the show has ever done.
It's just so dumb.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.https://www.facebook.com/adultswim/videos/10153810359556745/ epilogue to this episode. I didn't realize it to the second time I watched it but Stars and Garter's was that teacher Tosh who throw the bottle at Brown Widow.
I marathoned the entire show in the last week or so when I heard about season 6 starting, just so I could remind myself where all the character were now. Then I watched the season 6 premiere.
I like the move to New York, and Brock returning to the Ventures. The Avenger parodies were funny, and the Monarch's slight bonding with 24 was nice to see. I didn't like the implication of Doctor Girlfriend selling her body to the Kingpin parody, but at least it's just an implication.
A lot more setup this episode. wide wale is dugong's brother, Vatred is still kinda a part of the group and helped Brock, and Venture is going to do Super science on the side while presenting a public app face. and just got billy and pete on the science team. and the captain is off tranq again. and apparently the monarch's parents were batman and it looks like he is the guy killing guild members
Is there a site I can legally watch/buy Venture Bros? Because I am too far behind, I didn't even know there was a season five.
Good episode, although yeah, a lot of setup for the most part.
Adult Swim.com has full eps up, I believe.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117A couple of seasons ago I bought a season pass on Amazon.
I assume it's on iTunes too.
Of course, both of these suggestions may be useless outside of the US, and I don't know where you are.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI just watched the first two episodes of this season (not counting Gargantua 2) back to back. I have good hopes, preferably if Rusty and Malcolm (and Sheila) don't fuck up their respective positions. I'd like them to not all fail.
Also, as a black guy, I found that people of color joke hilarious, but it would be less so if that was their actual response to the show having few minority characters.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy....what the hell was Copycat's deal? Fuck with the Monarch and Venture for no reason?
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117He was nodding to Wide Wale after the couple left.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).So Wale driving a wedge. I must've missed that.
Really hope this isn't leading to Wale actually trying to, shall we say, "harpoon" Doc Mrs. Monarch.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117By all rights, shouldn't there be a big hole in Pete and Billy's Lab also? Wale's crew burst up from there into the lobby. That would mean they'd have to tunnel into there as well on the way up, assuming they went through the ground/sewer/subway.
Unless there's some kind of underground passage connecting the two buildings at that level (which there very well could be given the history of the building).
I'm assuming the OSI sent some guys to clean up the damage.
Loved the Venture plotline tonight, and the Green Hornet homage, though man, that's a really damn quick way to wrap up the "Monarch and Rusty used to be friends" stuff. I suppose we still have the Monarch's amnesia to deal with, though. (And, I mean, let's be honest, I dunno why I ever expect anything more than anticlimaxes from the mythology stuff.)
I'm really hoping that we get less of Dr. Mrs. being sexually harassed in the future.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. How was it wrapped up? Just seems like we got another small chunk of information to me.
Formerly KarmaMeter.I suppose it's possible that this butterfly-themed vigilante who holed up underneath the Monarch's childhood home and teamed up with Jonas Venture Sr. a few times is not, in fact, the Monarch's dad.
But at the moment...
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. It didn't occur to me that he might not actually be his dad, I just don't see that as wrapping things up for the Monarch's backstory. We still have no clue why the Monarch actually hates Rusty (for example), but now we understand how they would have met as children.
