Because Kinkajou told me to.
So yeah, anything about Final Fantasy! I guess this would make a good starting point: Which are your favorite games in the series and why?
My two all-time favorites are tied between Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy IX. They're both very fun games that don't take themselves too seriously while still being legitimately emotional. On top of that, Zidane is my favorite Final Fantasy lead in the entire series. He's light-hearted, fun, and a generally nice guy to be around. FFV also has the advantage of having one of, if not the best, Job System in an FF game. Both FFV and FFIX make characters customizable while keeping them all unique in their own way. I'm also very fond of Final Fantasy I; it hasn't aged well, but it's classic, and like FFV, I played it tons as a kid.
I assume we'll drift around to various other FF-related discussions as the topic grows, right?

Type-0 HD didn't sell so well.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!:(
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.What would the roster be, if made entirely of monsters? Only a few stick out in memory, Cactuar, Tonberry (who I don't imagine would be versatile enough for gameplay), the Midgar Zolom, maybe different variations of Ultima/Omega Weapon, Ex-Death.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I doubt the fact that it started with a twenty minute cutscene helped.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.A lot of people had a PSP back when Type-0 was released but there are not as many P S4s out there, also the game kinda got a bad reputation there due to the permadeath, really hard difficulty and other things. There was a reason why it didn't come out in the West.
However 1/4th the sales of the original is quite good for an HD collection, FFX HD did around 1/3rd FFX's sales and a more than half of FFX-2's IIRC.
Then again Senran Kagura Estival Versusout sold Type-0 in 3 days....

Was it really poorly rated? I looked though a few Japanese sites and Type-0 seemed to be rated pretty highly on all of them.
Female Guest Buddies might be a thing in XV. I'm guessing it's just one and that it's the Black Haired Girl from the XV reveal.◊
The only known Guest Buddy so far is Cor Leonis who is also on that picture.

Let's hope they do.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Shrug. Type-0 was mediocre on the PSP and I'm not seeing any meaningful improvements in HD, though I find the updated models well done. Charging an HD remaster like this at full price was probably a bad idea.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer"all-male party" "their behavior will change when a woman is around"...
I can't wait not to play this game.
Oh joy.
I'm hoping the sexual harassment in the demo isn't going to be the norm.
....You have a link to that scene? Cause um. I don't wanna believe it.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerSexual harassment. Seriously? Jesus Christ. That is pretty much the least charitable interpretation you can take from that scene.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Yes, please, ignore every point raised in the links.
Here it is.
Oh. My.
There is no way I will ever touch that garbage. Is Michael Bay lead writer?
I wasn't going to draw the comparison.
I'm trying to be nice.
I don't think Michael Bay has ever actually written the story for the movies he's done.
XV is written by Nojima who we talked about a while back has gotten a bit crazy(the X novel!) when he doesn't have Toriyama etc to help him.
It seems like everyone that works for Square now is a little weird.
Man, guys, I just realized.
Nomura is probably the most stable major figure at Square now. That's pretty scary.
I sure said that! What meaning of stable are we using?
I have a message from another time...Toriyama is pretty stable. He's apparently the leader of the team behind Mevius IIRC which doesn't have anything bad about it yet and he was the lead behind X/X-2 HD after LR got done. When he's done with games he doesn't seem to try to push them always forward in interviews.
Also the BD/BS team and the music and art people.

He's just kinda rambling and weird, instead of prone to obsession like Toriyama or a bro-asshole like Tabata or frankly kinda crazy like Nojima.
Mind, by absolute standards he's still pretty out there, but hey.
I sure said that!Yoshi P seems alright.
I have a message from another time...Man why does Mevius have to be a mobile game, they could at least release it on Vita at the same time. I never thought I would miss PS Mobile.
