Let's see if the first movie is a bomb. Warner Bros and DC have been making a lot of those.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. What does this cover that DC movies doesn't?
I feel about the Gunnverse the same way I do about Battinson. I should care, it's probably good. I just don't.
I believe, in the off-chance that this new Superman movie turns out not only to be good, but really really successful, it'll be good to have a clean slate thread to discuss these films.
Robin: Don't ever ask me to dock with you again. Serious...That and this'll be a good separation point from the likes of Joker and Battinson, which have their own threads too.
It's been 3000 years…(3) This thread is for people optimistic for and interested in thr DCU/Gunnverse. A clean slate.
Apathy and disinterest can go in the DC Movies thread.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Bit late for that stipulation, lol.
It can go in the other thread until the new movies disappoint and underperform again. Then, yeah this thread will be redundant.
But only if!!!!
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Trying to regulate where 'negativity' and 'positivity' go in is kind of iffy, never mind enforcing it.
Whether it will be successful or not, we won’t know for another year, so maybe a new thread is premature…
We can talk about both old and "new" DCU in the old thread. This feels redundant.
I think this thread should be kept. I imagine that it might be useful, when the Gunn DCU gets going, to have fully separate threads. It's just this interim that's making it confusing. So I think this thread is worth having for future use. If, even after the Gunn DCU hits its swing, this thread still isn't used, then it can still be closed.
A thread to discuss the Soft Reboot of the DCEU, and all works relevant to the former.
Currently announced titles are a new Superman film and an animated TV series, Creature Commandos.
