The Phantoon of the Theater (Horror RP/Open)

In the 30s-60s, one of the biggest cartoon stars of the era was Jakky Rabbit, a cartoon character that actually inspired Bugs Bunny. This overall-wearing wacko (think Jax from The Amazing Digital Circus but black and white) was known for being a clever little rascal who used tricks and disguises, traits that would eventually show up in the wascally wabbit himself. He was created by Goosie “Good” Goodwin, who believed that a cartoon should do absolutely anything.

Jakky was the star of an unknown number of cartoons, appearing in more shorts than Woody Woodpecker or Porky Pig, all created at Goosie Studios. Unfortunately, a fire happened in 1971, and although everyone went for safety, Goosie stayed behind, saying “Jakky brought me into the world of cartoons, and I intend to go out with him”.

A special theater, the Jakky Rabbit Revue, dedicated to playing Jakky’s cartoons, played cartoons from this beloved character’s library from the 1940s until 1971, out of respect for his creator.

Now, decades later, a team of former Goosie Studio employees have teamed up with a documentary crew to search the abandoned theater as part of a project based on Goosie Goodwin himself. However, they might get more than they bargained for…

So… yeah, this is basically a horror RP where you’re trapped with a deadly toon out for blood!

Name: Jakky Rabbit

Appearance: think Jax from The Amazing Digital Circus, but black and white.

Personality: Sneaky, cunning, snarky, sassy

Info: Before Goosie died in the fire, he performed a secret ritual allowing him to insert his soul into Jakky himself, but however… as the drawing came to life, Jakky’s personality took over Goosie’s. He burrowed under the ground and ended up at the Jakky Rabbit Revue theater, where he lives ever since. He hasn’t met any other humans in years, but he’d love to *play* with one…
