Slay The Princess

You're on a path in the woods. And at the end of that path, is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin....is a Princess. You're here to slay her. if you don't, it will be the end of the world. These are the words you are given at the start of your journey, and with these words and your own inquiries will you find yourself and the Princess's fate wrapped around each other. Released a few months ago, it has gained quite a name for itself as a comedic horror visual novel that also totes itself as a love story, as you go through different paths through your many options and dialogue choices to alter both the story and even the Princess herself. I compare it a bit to the TheStanley Parable, with a near omniscient Narrator as your guide who snarks at you throughout if you go off the intended path. Its a game that is best played blind, and the paths you weave will end up revealing what kind of person you are as well.

Slay the Princess will be receiving a free update next year that includes more chapters, expanded routes, and more as a free update!

A part of the reason I made the thread when I found out none existed was due to this: Even more content for an already fantastic game! Some routes I found to be given a lot more intrigue than others, such as The Nightmare, The Wild, compared to The Fury, The The Den, So im all for seeing more possibilities born from this team.

Incredible game. Though there actually was a thread made over in the Video Games forum.
