The Amazing Digital Circus

So, I've been thinking about how the series might end:

Possibility One: Pomni finds a way to leave the simulation, but for some reason it requires one user to stay behind and send the others out. Pomni, either in a moment of generosity or due to being double crossed, is the one left behind.

Possibility Two: Pomni gets out only to find herself stuck on a tiny spaceship, an apocalyptic wasteland, or some other place where life promises to be even more empty and bleak than the simulation. She ends up going back in, now with no hope for anything better.

Possibility Three: The users find out that they're also just A.I.s, and there was never any way for them to get to the real world.

I saw a theory that everyone in the simulation is a copy made through Brain Uploading. So the real person Pomni is based on is out and walking around and there's nothing for the Pomni we know to really return to

So, hot take: Gangle is my least favorite character so far. Everyone else I got to know some things about them. With Gangle all I got was "I'm sad because my comedy make broke." If we had a few minutes of her with the comedy mask on before it breaks, it could have been interesting to see how her personalities contrast between the different masks.

This is a digital circus song that happened to have the actual actress for Pomni in it. Its really good, hope Pomni ends up singing at one point as her actress is good at it.

According to Glitch Production's YouTube community post, there'll be some news for Digital Circus tomorrow.

So uh, I kinda would like to see this, but is there anything disturbing or dark about it?

Well it's about a group of people trapped in a digital circus where they have no memories of who they were, meaning they don't even know why they're in the circus to begin with, there's no escape at all at the moment, and if you go crazy you end up abstracting, which turns you into a glitchy monster that will attack anyone and anything. The show seems to be set up as a mostly psychological horror.

Yikes, uh…I’ll think about it.

The creator has described it as a dark comedy rather than a horror [1][2]^note there's a tweet where she says she doesn't think of it as a horror, but Twitter seems to be down right now so I can't find it found it (though it does have some horror elements) and said that "it will be approximately 50% goofs and 50% angst"

Well it would seem that the crew is going to release the second episode at somewhere in May and more next year. Besides the advertising for merch. It would also seem that they plan to finish murder drones this year.

Episode 2 coming out around May let's gooo!!!

Man the new lineup of merch looks really cool, definitely getting the figurines and maybe the shirt.

I liked all the meta talk between Caine and Pomni, but I wish that it was a full teaser of what's to come or at least a hard date for the new episodes in it instead of a "Oh yeah, the episodes will be out when it's done" slapped on at the very end.

They said May for episode 2.

I do wonder how truthfully we're supposed to take Caine's comment about how he canonically has no knowledge of the internet. Is it meant as a Suspiciously Specific Denial disguised as an in-character Word of God statement, perhaps?

We do know he's capable of lying, at any rate, since he did so about his "exit".

what seems to be a recorder of sorts◊,

a candy monster made of chocolate, candy corn, and jawbreakers◊ (name confirmed to be Fudge Monster),

a cute yappy ghost◊,

a candy princess◊ (name implied to be Princess Loolilalu),

a ghost lady◊ (name confirmed to be Martha Mildenhall (can't find relevant Tumblr post; don't have Tumblr account + using alternate frontend, so just trust me on this one))

and a blue mannequin◊.

Also through this info, the next adventures will be about Candy Canyon Kingdom, a haunted mansion, and minimum-wage labor in a fast food restaurant.

Where did they say that? Did I miss something in the video?

Caine said to Pomni (see 0:40) "Your little crying face left quite the little crying mark on the internet! something I don't canonically have any knowledge of!"

The video has him talk about the merch and upcoming episodes to the real-life audience, a No Fourth Wall announcement, so to speak. We don't know if it's just the case for this video or if Caine is aware of the outside (digital) world (and denying it).

The ghost lady looks a lot like the silhouettes human characters are depicted as in the Elliott Manor scenes of Murder Drones. Plus, I'd be lying if I said that there's no chance that the Haunted Mansion in general could bear a certain resemblance to Elliott Manor, but I guess that's just me comparing the way Glitch Productions does things in different shows.

I interpreted the "No canonical knowledge of" line as being that Caine doesn't canonically know about the reactions the pilot and Pomni have been getting.

Whether Caine canonically knows the internet exists? That might be in the air. He seems to at least know they're.. Well, Digital.
