The Russian president Vladimir Putin is often thought of as a strong leader that can DESTROY any Western journalist or liberal Russian with FACTS AND LOGIC. However, the truth is that Putin is really SCARED of debate: all of Putin's interviews and press conferences are highly scripted, and Putin has never participated in a single presidential debate in history. He is not used to hearing any criticism to his face, and in the very rare occasions when he does, he gets pretty angry. Today we will be watching the one time Putin got challenged right to his face: a video from a 2010 dinner meeting, in which the Russian Anti-Z musician Yuri Shevchuk from the legendary Soviet rock band DDT called Putin out on the lack of freedom of speech in the country. So, what happens when someone argues with Putin? And why is Putin so scared of debating anyone?

In the light of the upcoming 2024 presidential election in Russia, there has been a heavy crackdown of freedom of speech. Recently I talked about an infamous 'almost naked' celebrity party in Russia, which caused a Z MELTDOWN in the society and got several Russian music stars and influencers canceled. This video is PART 2: we'll take a look at the aftermath of this celebrity party, and discuss how some of the canceled Russian celebrities (like the rapper Vacio) are literally being sent to the army and are getting drafted to the frontline in Ukraine. What is going on? Why is Russia canceling celebrities? And why did this party cause such a Z propaganda meltdown? Let's talk about it.

So, it's official. The imprisoned Russian politician and Putin critic Alexei Navalny is dead. As soon as it happened, Russian propaganda immediately started blaming the West, saying that Navalny's death is a move to 'discredit' Russia after the 'very successful' Tucker Carlson Putin interview. So, what happened and what does Russia say about all of this? Moreover, I'd like to talk about the life of Alexei Navalny, his legacy and the impact he left on my life and the lives of many other Russians. I hope you like it.

Not that long ago I talked about the death of Alexei Navalny - the Russian opposition leader and famous critic of Putin. It was news that shocked many to the core, including myself. And on March 1st, Navalny's funeral took place in Moscow, after his family having to fight to get his body from the Russian government. And the funeral turned into one of the biggest protests in Russia in recent history: thousands of Russians went to visit Navalny's funeral, chanting many anti-Putin and anti-war slogans. So, what happened on the funeral of Navalny and what does this mean for Russia? And why is Russia afraid of Alexei Navalny even when he's dead?

2024 is truly the year of elections, and Russia is no exception. On March 17th, Russia will conduct its 2024 presidential election. Putin's Russia is already known for not having the most fair and honest elections, and in the midst of the war and Ukraine and the increased censorship in Russia, this year's election is extra special and restricted: Vladimir Putin will face against 4 hand-picked fake candidates in the presidential race. Anti-war candidates such as Yekaterina Duntsova and Boris Nadezhdin were also not allowed to run. So, who is Putin running against? Why does the 2024 Russian election matter? What does the Russian opposition have planned? And who is going to win? Spoiler alert: it's Putin.

After kicking out opposition candidates and killing Alexei Navalny, Russia has just finished the 2024 Russian presidential election, and the results are not very surprising - Vladimir Putin won the election with 87% of the votes. Or so Russia claims. The election itself turned into a complete joke, becoming the most rigged election in Russia's history. Moreover, Russians around the country have also been protesting the election, and some have even gone as far as setting voting booths on fire and ruining ballots with green dye. What is going on? Are Russians finally fed up with Putin's regime or is there another explanation? As a Russian, in this video I'd like to react to the ridiculous 2024 Election in Russia and everything surrounding it.

Yesterday, on March 22nd, 2024, there was a terrorist attack in Moscow that claimed the lives of hundreds of Russian people. A concert hall called Crocus City Hall in Moscow was targeted, being set on fire. The Russian government had an immediate reaction to blame Ukraine for this attack, completely ignoring the fact that the USA has warned Russia of a possible threat, and that ISIS claimed responsibility for the event. The Russian police's response to the attack has also been widely criticized by pretty much everyone. And now, after the incident, Russia plans to use it to take away even more rights and freedoms away from Russians. So, what happened during the Moscow attack and what does Putin's Russia have to say about it? As a Russian, I really would like to talk about it.

Ever since I left Russia, I made a lot of content about Russian propaganda and Z cringe. And even though I would like to be able to go back for a visit, for now I avoid going back to Russia. Why is that the case? Is it safe for me to visit Russia? I'd like to answer these questions and also talk about how I'm pretty much banned from Ukraine because of my citizenship, plus why I avoid China and a few other countries.

Dang. Makes you realize Roman can't visit a good chunk of the eastern world these days. Or probably even see his folks in person ever again.

Also, Thailand? That one spot took me by surprise.

If you follow Russian news, you might be familiar with these infamous videos of Russia destroying food. Most of these come from 2014, when the West introduced sanctions on Russia after Crimea. In response, Russia introduced so-called 'counter-sanctions' and banned import of Western food in Russia. And the destruction perfectly fine food was also performed 'to show the West' that Russia doesn't need Europe to survive. It's really dumb, but Russia is STILL DOING IT: just recently, Russia almost had a nationwide banana shortage because of a conflict with Ecuador. So, why is Russia destroying food? Let's talk about Russia's relationship with food and sanctions, and how Russia still uses food today to bully other countries into submission.
