No I don't think so. At least, not on the main work's page. If the characters are not on opposing sides in canon, then War Ship would not count for the main work's YMMV page, but if we had a page for a fanfiction where that happens, then it would go on the fanfiction's YMMV page.

Shipping tropes are audience reactions, so they shouldn't go on the main page.

Do shipping tropes apply if the relationship isn't like that in canon, but resembles that in Fanon. For instance, War Ship is about a ship between two people on opposing sides of a conflict. Let's say in canon, the two characters are friendly. However, fans like to portray them as enemies in fan fiction or likes A Us where the two characters are on opposite sides of a war. Would that count as a War Ship?
