This site isn't aimed towards children and if parents are concerned about the the use of swears in our articles, then that's their problem. The only guidelines for profanity we have is for it to not be gratuitous. Censoring swear words with symbols or other isn't allowed unless these words were censored in quotes from a work's dialogue or text. Locking.

I don't know if this is the right place to talk about it, but I had this idea on my mind:
While looking at the numerous swear words on Tv Tropes listed on numerous pages, I had been thinking that there is likely going to be instances where children will stumble upon this website and read the naughty words and get in trouble for doing so without realizing it!
So, I want to know if you guys would be in line with the idea of censoring out the swear words on the pages, like "Fuck", with "$&%#" like in Conker's Bad Fur Day! Not only would it be so much more funnier and hilarious, but it would prevent the children of today from reading the swear words and being punished for saying it none the wiser and having parents seeing our website as a bad influence on today's youth!
