I wish there was an easier way to view the article history, by date, and by the state of the article in addition to edit history. Could help me give old entries a second chance (and have a good laugh at the Old Wiki).
You keep using the term "POV". I do not think it means what you think it means. The ability to see what actually changed when using the preview button shouldnt be too hard. Someone should add that to the Query Wishlist.

Now monitoring Wishlist and BugsI wish the delete buttons on avatar galleries were moved under the avatars so they'd be easier to press.
HqamiliciousDon't know if anyone asked this yet but, I'd love an updated, modernized version of the Needa an Image Wiki tool. Maybe it could work similarly to Browse.

ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Ya me too. Another programmer here created it years ago but didn’t finish it for some reason and it’s currently only visible to moderators. Once I fix the bugs and the mods thoroughly test it we can push it live. I’ll be doing that right after I complete the TLP improvements.

Due to the mentioned problems not going to posr this to Query Wishlist, but I've already written it so may as well dump here.
Suggeting for pages to have a "Gallery" block for image examples with a designated "add image" button. Tropers would be able to upload images for tropes and works without the need to understand page markup.
Only the featured image is displayed on article while the rest would be listed on a subpage. The first upload would be featured by default and swapping or removing images would require asking in Image Pickin forum (maybe also with automated voting system like TLP to not drag in mods every time)
The good:
- Makes it impossible to have more than one image on a page except for specific pages where it's intentional.
- Makes it impossible to unilaterally change an image, which is a rule violation.
- You don't have to explain that adding images requires editing a page and pasting code from the uploading because no page editing would be required.
The issues:
- If the user doesn't like the image they upload. Maybe let tropers delete images from a gallery and set another one as featured within first 30 minutes.
- Quality reuploads of images don't require a discussion if done correctly.
- Higher risk of copyright infringement than linking to the images off-site like Image Links does.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupYeah by then I've also figured since the visual editor is incoming, adding or changing images should become more intuitive anyway. On Fandom media elements on pages in edit mode are clickable and have a modal floating form with properties.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupYa right now for the toolbar and visual editor you right-click an image and can change the URL afterwards:
Also, whether images are uploaded to tropes or linked from somewhere else is irrelevant to any legal issues. We are not legally responsible for user-uploaded images as long as we take them down "in a timely manner" if and only if we receive a request to take a specific image down.

Now monitoring Wishlist and BugsAn "insert video" link. Other message boards have this function, it would be nice to see tv tropes have it so we could insert videos in forums without having to type in youtube and the last part of the video URL.

True, but we still have rules to not use images that "more than 50% of a non-representetive material". Screetshots, profiles and posters good, artworks bad unless explicitly okay'ed by the artist. Or basically "something with a risk of dmca email". And there's also general quality control. So letting people freely upload multiple images for the same trope can increase load on people who verify if images work.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupThis request was closed without a comment but I find it interesting, an index that forces wicks to display as red even if they have pages. I think it doesn't need to be a feature because of utility, if something needs to show as red it's probably something that should be cut outright.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupSome way to see newly created pages
Non-serious suggestion, I often wish to mark stub pages as so, so on top of a notifier, the pages would have a Time Bomb banner that asks to fix the page in 2 days or it'll get cut automatically.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupThe TV Tropes version of speedy deletion!
In the Launch Pad, there's a button at the top that shows all launched pages from newest to oldest.
The ability to hide forum topics from appearing. I would get the One Piece Manga Spoiler topic out of my face forever.
Non-serious suggestion: avatar-games.tvtropes .org. As there's been a lot of tech feature requests that can be used exlusively in a single subforum that isn't relevant to the wiki or work discussions.

Is there a Query on how having too-long a Query title makes the query unpost-able?
