Literary Mash-Ups doesn't seem to know quite what it is. On the trope side:

  • It lists itself as a Subtrope to Literary Necrophilia (If you think that one sounds bad, it's on the TRS queue.)
  • Page Type set to trope (though that is very mutable)
  • Listed on Derivative Works, which is currently a Trope index.

On the index side:

  • Listed on Literature Genres (As a subset of Speculative Fiction?)
  • Most wicks (18 total) are treating it as they would a Genre definition or Definition Only page - Above the fold or Pothole - Only one lists it as a trope.
  • The on-page list is acting more like an index - no context for the examples, just work names.
    • But, Y'know, the page doesn't index
    • However, those work names almost invariably pothole the classic "Parent" work, rather than properly WikiWording the derivative that is being listed.

What, if anything can be cleaned up in-situ? Or are we going to need TRS for this one?
