Hm, I may be misrembering, but I seem to recall Catherine Zeta Jones being in talks to play a villain role for a potential National Treasure 3, years ago.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptation

You know the nostalgia wave is huge when NATIONAL TREASURE gets a revival. Far from a bad movie, but seems kind of random all the same.

It's less a revival and more a project that keeps getting reworked and revamped every couple of years. It's been in the works since the second one came out.

A thread for the Disney+ series, National Treasure: Edge of History, a continuation of the National Treasure film series.
Harvey Keitel will be reprising his role as Peter Sadusky, with Catherine Zeta-Jones playing the main villain. Justin Bartha also seems to be returning as Riley Poole.
Also, I think this is the first time since 2007 I've heard anyone even mentions Cribs.
