~Cthulu VS Godzilla - As unfortunate as the trope name is, we don't rename trope for offensiveness alone. Hot Gypsy Woman also contains the slur but multiple rename attempts have failed because no one could come up with a name encapsulates the stereotype (which is inherently offensive/negative likeGypsyCurse is).
I suggest that you take the matter to the Trope names with outdated and/or offensive language thread
if you want pursue further discussion on the matter. Please keep in mind that you can't push major changes to the trope on Trope Talk if you decide to use the aforementioned linked thread.

G*psy is a slur used against Rromani people and should not be in the name of a trope. While the trope exists and is worth discussing, using a slur in the name of a trope is no good. I propose renaming it to something such as "Stereotypical Rromani Curse," or some other name that is both descriptive and without slur usage.
We would not have a trope name with a slur against any other group in it, which is good. I request that we not have a slur against Rromani people openly used in a trope name either.
