I noticed that too.
Also, did Momo get a new suitor in that alien guy? The way he just turned around and left like he was embarrassed made me wonder.
So, those feeling unsatisfied with the split-mouthed woman's departure get some closure here; She's still around, but is off to find love, after telling Momo to stop beating around the bush so much.
On the good news side: Vamola's mother is alive! Hooray! On the downside, the aliens are still out there, and a human ghost is with them?
No worse. It's Count St. Germaine who as a folklore figure is supposed to be an immortal alchemist time traveler. Tatsu-sensei is LITERALLY throwing everything in here. Youkai, cryptids, aliens, ghosts, cthulhu, and now this guy.😆

Huh. Never heard of him until today. What next, if folklore characters are fair game, are we getting King Arthur? Paul Bunyan?

A bit surprised you've not heard of him previously. He's like the go to guy for european noble with mystic powers of some kind. He's also appeared in Castlevania and the one game by Devolver about cheating at cards.
Never played that game, heard it's good though.
Yeah, for whatever reason, I haven't come across that name in popular culture before — or if I did, I took no notice of it.
I never heard of him before the Castlevania cartoon.
Thanks to my cousin I know there is a futbol team named after him: the Paris Saint Germain.
Knew of him long before from a book "The Unexplained" by Karl Shucker. I got the book back in...98 I wanna say from Hastings(look it up)*. It's exactly the kind of book Okarun would have read and it's where I knew about most f what's shown up on this series most especially the Mongolian Death Worm which made me super giddy to see as well as be portrayed accurately(for whatever measure this is on cryptids).
There was also another one I had that had a chapter eerily predict some of the pandemics we've had(or at least that new variants were very much a thing that was going to happen).
Really need to check if I still have them.

He also showed up in a few SMT games and the Millenium Earl is based off of him.
I tend to associate him more with Japanese pop culture because that's where all fictional appereances of him I've ran into came from.
El sexo es temporal. LA PENITENCIA ES ETERNA!Are you guys all from US? I thought he is a pretty famous figure in Europe. I read about him when I was kid. There was a series of enciclopedias about historical figures. He was in one called something like "Famous avanturists and swindlers" (along with guys like Casanova).

I'm from Brasil, actually.
El sexo es temporal. LA PENITENCIA ES ETERNA!
Completely unrelated, but I fucking LOVE your AV Orange Bun. Still wondering if him or Escribar's true form was more disturbing(leaning more to him though).
Makes sense he shows up as a mentor figure in a game about cheating at cards. But yeah I recall reading about him in books about the occult and paranormal and whatnot.
Why thank you, clearly you are a person of most distinguished taste!
El sexo es temporal. LA PENITENCIA ES ETERNA!"Sorrowful be the heart Penitent One"
Also, humblebrag but look for my name on the credits of the first under the backers list(same for Sea of Stars).
I'm not finishing either game anytime soon, but I shall keep it in mind.
El sexo es temporal. LA PENITENCIA ES ETERNA!So now Count St. Germaine has infiltrated the school and volunteered to back Momo and Okarun's school club, for some reason. Also, Vamola's learning to speak, although her friends have taught her some bad habits.
Basically at the start of this chapter I thought "It would be funny if this guy the Serpoians called super dangerous just started hanging out around the protagonists before they have any idea."
The end of the chapter; "Are you a Vampire?"
I mean, I laughed, but considering the Fantasy Kitchen Sink nature of this manga, I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out class rep really is a vampire.

I needed someone to point out to me that Sanjome's isn't just saying the same thing with the same expression, the same drawing of him got used for four different panels.
It also took me two chapters to realize "Sanjome" is a mangled transliteration of "Saint Germain" (which is French is pronounce like "Seh Jermeh").

I like that both Kenta and Vamola are sticking around, and most likely, will be a core part of the group, since I feel they really round out the crew.
Okay, so class rep isn't a vampire, she's just incredibly kinky. "Oh, please, mr. sexy vampire, don't abduct me to your castle and make me your personal love toy!"
But we've finally got a lead on Okarun's other testicle, and now Class Rep has ghost problems.
It's funny that Okarun's ball was previously only pursued for its spiritual powers, but now it's been pointed out it's looks like a big lump of gold that anyone might have stolen just to sell.
And now, we finally get class prez's backstory. She didn't have an abusive childhood, but man did she have to grow up way too fast.
I just like everytime Jiji turns into a muppet. Gets me lauging everytime .
