I played OTK Spiders. There's a budget build and a UR-heavy version that can both work at cleaning the event of Gems pretty fast.

Using Maxx C locks you out of a whole other type, and outside of dedicated insect decks i havent seen any use of it. That being said, Insects i feel really lucked out. 0 relevant hits, access to kaijus, maxx c, retaliating C, beargram, they seem to have a whole slew of tools to fight against the rest of the cast.

Then again you have winged beasts like lyrillusics and raidraptors, beast warriors have stuff like lunalights and fire fists....theres plenty of decks to use even for cheap.

That reminds me, as of a few days ago an update came that introduced a bunch of new stuff. Usually I would post all the changes but I'm feeling lazy today

However, I will post that the Egyptian God Cards all have summon animations now as well as finishing blow animations, which you can see here:

We got the previously mentioned updated banlist, and 2 new selection packs incoming!

We got the final chapter cards of the Albaz saga, Gate Gaurdian support, Mannadium, and Visas Astracloud in one pack, while the other includes the Tribrigade link 5, the dragon rulers, ratpier, and mathmech support.

Konami's refusal to just hit EEV and Dimensional Barrier, the actual problems, continues to be annoying.

Not even a token hit to SHS is immensely disappointing, they could've at least killed the Scythe lock or ban Aurorodon.

2nd MD anniversary comes with a swath of new stuff inbound

2 New selection packs: one featuring powerful monsters from various archtypes amd staples, the other bringing in Diabellestar and Snake-Eyes to the forefront. Expect to see a lot of diabellestar in the future.

A new Blue Eyes structure deck is coming, as well as a new 10 master pack bundle that includes chaos max as a mate, our first ever Mate bundle! And if you think thats not enough blue eyes, a 30 MD pack bundle that features a royal alt sre of BEWD and a new blue eyes flavored mat will also be released.

All content is dropping on february 7th

These festivals have been really good tbh. First time in a long while I bought a duel pass because I actually got fairly high.

The HEROes loaner deck is ridiculously good for loaner deck standards. Wake up your HERO is really dumb game stealer. Synchro/Link was likely for people to try out the Swordsouls given they're the reward for the referral program. Got a lot of quick and easy gems from these events.
