If you have the talent to create mechanical contraptions, why waste it on something as mundane as a single computing engine for playing games on? Why not create an army of ever faithful robot servants?
Oh, I could write essays on this subject if I wanted to. There's a sense of discovery and insight that I really like about the natural sciences (and maths): Say there's some phenomenon in real life that you don't get, and it keeps confusing you. Then, you learn some new science, and suddenly, you understand the phenomenon! And to me, this feels immensely satisfying.

I wish Disney would make more sci-fi action-oriented animated movies instead of princess movies and live-action remakes.

The Pokemon games are turn-based roleplaying games where you can catch various creatures known as Pokemon, train them and battle other Pokemon in friendly matches. Most Pokemon are based on real-life animals and such most of them have eyes, it's natural that way.

Would you be willing to have your brain digitized and simulated as a copy of yourself under normal circumstances? Why/why not? I know a lot of people are squeamish about this idea, I’m just trying to gauge rationales for it.
