I honestly didn't mind the wedding scene. I mean, I can see how this scene kind of took away more development for both Tails and Knuckles in the movie, but personally, I didn't find it that bad.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!What about the post Wedding rampage?
One Strip! One Strip! That was fun, so I don’t hate it.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Wedding scene was hilarious.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Yeah, it was alright.
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.Me six.
I told my friend that, at the expese of sinning, I found Racher funnier than Carrey in the movie. Nothing against Carrey but some of his jokes came off as forced to me (like him yelling to Knuckles about "THE HEDGEHOG!" or doing a little dance in his turf).
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Robotnik devolving into an insanely technologically capable degenerate was priceless.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024)."What about the post Wedding rampage?"
That was what I mainly was referring to. Is it a bit superfluous? Yes. Could that time have been better spent developing the actual main characters? Yes. Was it an extremely fun and enjoyable scene that transformed a one-note character from the first film into a hilarious badass? Also yes.
What I did like about the wedding scenes was that they made Rachel into a much more active character. I do wonder what they will do with her character moving forward?
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Literally the only thing that bugged me about the wedding scene is that it kind of shows how much the films are hurting for female characters.
Maggie can't do everything, and Rachel was always meant to be more of a smaller scale, gaggy character: and while I think she does fine carrying a larger subplot, you can kind of tell that it wasn't a role the writers ever really intended her to take.
It's that scene that, if nothing else, makes me convinced we're getting Amy in the next one no matter what.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Well, they seem to not have found a way to implement either Amy or Rouge for Sonic 3, so, it sucks, but what we can do about it?

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I kind of hope they adapt Sonic CD for the next film, if they want to bring Amy in. Like, you could maybe merge the plot of Sonic Colors with it since both have the premise of "Robotnik takes over an entire planet". So you could have the Wisps and bring in Metal Sonic too. Just have a reason for Amy to be on the planet and you should be fine.
Hey now, that doesn't negate the possibility for them to appear later. And honestly, the last part sounded kinda rude toward him.
You can't kill art.Apologies, it's just an expression. I was saying "What can you do?" as a rethorical question.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back. They could also merge Sonic CD with Sonic 2006 and have Amy be from the same future as Silver, considering both games use time travel.
Given that 3 is a Shadow movie it's doubtless going to take a lot from Adventure 2. In which case it's hard to imagine without Rouge. Plus wasn't there that report a while back that Kristen Ritter was doing *something* for the movie? And we know for sure she's *not* Maria? I could see her as Rouge.
I thought that Kristen Ritter was playing one of the GUN soldiers.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Last I checked for the third movie, we barely know anything about the plot or the characters that are going to be in it at all.
Like, we only just found out Eggman is going to be in like two weeks ago.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. There's already tons of people moaning about how the human characters are going to take over the plot.
I mean, the only human character I like besides Eggman, is Agent Stone.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. There's always going to be moaners but... to be fair, human characters have been seen as a detriment to Sonic plots for a while now. In the games you had the GUN Commander, Professor Pickle, Elise. In animated media they were fine when the idea was zany, like Mama Robotnik, but disliked when it was serious, like Chris Thorndyke. I like the humans in the movies but it might be difficult to make them relevant a third time around, especially since Wade apparently is given more focus than Knuckles in the miniseries.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I think Wade is funny in small doses, so that's why when I saw the trailer focusing more on Knuckles with Wade being a funny sidekick who has some scenes, I had interest in the series.
But ehhh... I'm enough of a shill that maybe I'll give it a watch if I ever get Paramount plus.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I'll be honest I saw these movies once in theaters each time and I forgot who Wade even was.
Once I get Paramount Plus though I'll definitely give Knuckles a shot.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).We don’t do Professor Pickle slander in this house.
Joking, but this is legit the first time I’ve ever heard of Pickle being disliked by anybody. IIRC, he was a generally well received NPC.
Also “The Gun Commander?” You’ll have to be more specific.
