All this talk of Sonic music, and no lover for City Escape?
Much as I loved Frontiers
you can't escapin the city with that one
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).no but you can hang onto the other side of it

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Why hang when you can be here, reaching out across these new frontiers?
Watch Symphogearbecause i'm here to go beyond my limits, not to compromise
"That we continue to persist at all is a testament to our faith in one another."But I'm following, standing on the corner of everything.
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh. You all need to live and learn, and start stepping on the edge of tomorrow.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Are y'all okay? You seem to be a little tense. We are free to get whatever we want to have. We should live our lives the way we think it ought to be.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Knock knock, it's Knuckles:
Amy's theme has some weird, weird lyrics, but anyone who says its a bad song is a liar.
I never noticed how...odd...the lyrics to Amy's song were until I got older.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!When I was a kid my parents listened to a lot of Fertile Ground, and I could swear Rouge’s theme is an homage to that band - or at least that band’s exact genre - so that’s been one of my favorites for ages too.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. So, if they don't include any music from the games in Sonic 3, would that ruin the movie for people?
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Only Live & Learn, since its been teased. Even then, ruined would be too far.
You guys think Ian Flynn is jealous of the creative freedom the people making the movie have with the Sonic characters while Sega restricts him from giving Shadow a personality in the comics?
I’m joking of course. But you gotta admit, it’s funny how the filmmakers have less restrictions.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Well, apparently Sega America is easing up on the whole "Do not give Shadow emotions" thing. After the Metal Virus arc in the comics they allowed him to give Shadow a moment where he went "Why the fuck did I screw up like that, that was stupid!"
Not in so many words.
For context, Shadow got infected by an Eggman-made plague thing. Running helped to burn it off but when Sonic told him "run" Shadow went "I AM THE ULTIMATE LIFEFORM, I RUN FROM NOTHING!" and got consumed.
Sonic Prime also gave a pretty good Shadow too.
Sonic Boom was also fun with him in that it played up his seriousness for laughs.
Yeah, but that also kinda lost a lot of Shadow's nuance and is seen as one of his worst portrayals which embodies the bad boy edgelord characterization that's been plaguing in since Kirk Thornton took over.
Prime's really good for Shadow stans but less so for Sonic stans, partly because it's pretty clear that the show creators love Shadow. He's given the "Character has to be written out of the plot because they're just too powerful and would solve everything otherwise" treatment;
The show makes sure to have him always looking like the coolest, most awesome guy in the world. He knows everything about the plot right off the bat and is rarely portrayed as wrong in his assessment of anything - contrasting Sonic, who is pigheaded and stupid from the start, and has to learn to grow and change. He flexes on Sonic pretty much any time they're pit against each other, at one point going so far as to ride Sonic like a skateboard. However, a weird glitch in the metaphysics prohibits him from entering any of the realities or being directly involved in the story, so he has to reluctantly act through Sonic's dumb ass.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.It is a bit odd that the movies have more freedom to do what they want with Sonic, but the comics don't seem to have that same freedom. I don't know if there are different rules in regards to the movies, but if SEGA was too heavily involved in the movies, then I don't think the movies would have been as successful as they are, especially with how SEGA has been handling the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise over the years.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!I mean, they were partly a reason why Sonic got the well-needed redesign.
Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise.
Yeah, I figured there were some legal issues regarding the music. That's been an issue for the original tracks on the Sonic 3 & Knuckles game for years now.
