Cryptid Chaser (Another CYOA)

[If you couldn't tell by now, i REALLY like running CYOAs, and my most active one is gettin' pretty crazy and a bit serious, so im starting yet another, this time set in a city in which our protagonist serves as a monster/cryptid hunter. Only difference from real life? He actually finds them. Because I'm in the mood for something that is, or at least starts out as, more episodic. Also, this is gonna be less fantasy based, mostly paranormal. thought i should clarify that since my other 2 are like, purely fantasy.]

Your name is KEITH, and you are a CRYPTID HUNTER in the city of TERREGUM (TEAREE-gum). You've woken up in your OFFICE. This isn't the first time you've SLEPT here. You're chasing a new CASE, a WENDIGO sighting. You've chosen this over what is easily the 482nd BIGFOOT SIGHTING. The last REPORT of this WENDIGO took place in the PARK that is SOUTH of here.

If you find it, try running it around a bit to get it tired and working up some body heat.

You acquire your LARGE HUNTING KNIFE and, since you don't have a SHOTGUN, your SNUB-NOSE REVOLVER.

This THOUGHT has crossed your mind. Even though it's winter, it still shouldn't be nearly cold enough to support a WENDIGO. This might be a variant, like a YETI is to a BIGFOOT, but there's also the possibility that this may be something entirely new... That thought worries you.

You spend the next few MINUTES making several MOLOTOV COCKTAILS. Hopefully, you won't have to use them.

> Well, it needn't be something new per se. Could be anything that resembles a Wendigo just enough for an eyewitness to mistake it (can't always trust eyewitnesses, you know), which probably includes some other known cryptids.
