50's Fantasy CYOA (DND Based)

Local: Can we try reaching out to a new letter like N or Q, or do we have too much going on RN?

I think we need to start off small which is what we need to also do with telling him about the truth and our world.

(Local) Yeah, don't jump right into explaining everything about the internet and TV Tropes; just explain what's directly relevant.

Local: Yeah I think we stick to my explanation I did.

Local: Well hot dang things sure got bizarre while I was out. Also, no reaching out to other letters: we don't want to start involving more people at present, especially considering that we don't know what we are in-universe.

J, I believe your box is what we refer to as a "room." Have you ever heard of or seen a place called "Violet Forest?" It's a forest with lots of magical stuff in it. Victor, a friend of ours, is there right now. Also can you describe yourself, i.e. what you look like? Victor might recognize you.

V, you're still in the forest, correct? Also what happened with the worm?

Hmm. Well, I have short, messy white hair, and I am what one might describe as 'deathly pale.' One time one of the men said my eyes are 'like a pool of blood.' I believe this makes me 'albino'...? But that is only based on a book I read one time.

If I remember correctly, someone named V was in the box next to me. He kept talking about the place outside of here, but I never believed him. He talked of 'forests' and 'oceans'. ~J

The worm is dead. I'm deeper in the forest now. I think I see one of those damn mushroom things, but it's hard to tell being that they're a clear object in a place full of purple and pink and fuschia and shit like that. ~V

I have reached a large room. It has a stairwell, as well as a room with many screens, blocked off by thick glass. It seems very secure. There is a small metal box on the door with a thin vertical slit. ~J

V, I am sorry if this scares you but I need to test something out do you see the dog?

J, look around the room before going to that box.

The room has many buttons. They have numbers on them. I see my number. 957. The screens show many of the rooms. They seem to update every 4 seconds or so, so it is not an entirely live feed. ~J

Victor... uh... did you confirm that possible mushroom? (I dunno, I kinda feel like he doesn't need our help, but just not interacting would be against the point of the thing...)

Joshua: Only hurt the guards if you have to. But if you do have to, hurt them comprehensively. Don't try to split the difference and only hurt them a little bit — just incapacitate them as quickly as possible.

J, I have a idea toss something to the ground to get their attention and hide away, when they walk in your range attack.
