50's Fantasy CYOA (DND Based)

After a quick ask around because the internet doesn't exist yet cus 50's, you find out that there are plenty of bats in a cave a few miles into the forest.

Yeah. Rare ingredients. Uhh... He said to look for 'crystalline mushrooms'. They're entirely transparent, like glass, except for their white spots and blue stems. By the way, thought I'd clarify, this is the 'violet forest.' It's got a crazy ecosystem, like nothing else in the world. No one knows, or at least chooses to say, how it came about, but it's got plenty of magic energy. ~V
