It's definitely unisex. There's a slight difference between how the male and female versions are portrayed, but it's vanishingly small considering the trope's roots. This should be solved with some description tweaks, maybe a line about how ex-boyfriends are slightly more likely to actually kill their targets and less likely to get any sympathy (or be Played for Laughs).

Is Psycho Ex-Girlfriend unisex, or is it specifically about ex-girlfriends? There's evidence for both, and I'm trying to wrap my head around it.
On one hand, it has a Psycho Ex-Boyfriend redirect, the image seems to be of a boyfriend, and the description on some indexes don't reference gender.
On the other hand, the laconic is girlfriend-specific, the description uses Alice and Bob and Alice is the psycho, and it's indexed on things like Womanliness as Pathos while not being indexed on Unisex Tropes.
