I am curious about the preferences in spelling of Video Games vs Videogames and Webcomics vs Web Comics, such as in folder names and wicks like Videogame/ and WebComic/. Both versions seem to be in general use, though I've seen several Grammar Nazi go out of their way to correct those. I still don't know why they are inclined to do so, since both are grammatically correct, and in the case of links, both work as intended.

Time is subjective.

"Video games" is generally listed as two separate words, but "webcomics" could go either way. On this wiki, "webcomic" is one word, and the mods/admins wants to make sure the capitalization of all of the namespaces stays consistent. "Fan Fic/" vs. "Fanfic/" is also a sticky issue, but wiki policy tends toward the latter.

Video games should be under VideoGame/, while webcomics should be under Webcomic/.

[up][up] Right. The standardization is important because the code that handles namespaces and custom titles is case-sensitive.
